I only got my prescription today and am currently waiting to ovulate while on Vitex. I have irregular and long cycles, so when o will happen is anyone's guess.

We are planning on starting the Clomid and attempting next cycle.
I woudl drop the V if it is delaying ovulation.

I don't know if she'd prescribe Clomid (I am 40!) but I'm anxious to hear what she has to say. Question for you...how long did it take to get all the "testing" done?
If they do, be sure they've tested FSH and that it is normal range. I personally think Femara is better for older moms than Clomid because Clomid can raise FSH, but Femara can be tough to get.

We have what we call a postcode lottery when it comes to the NHS in the UK. I found it pretty easy to get hold of Clomid and I believe Mrs P did too. I think it depends on which local health trust you're under and their policies.

I'm not sure how easy it is to get hold off where I am. Trying to see the doctor is hard enough. I need to book an appointment because there's usually a two week waiting list.

I hope they will give me some if I need it. Been using ovulation predictor kits since October and not had one positive but am having AF so most be ovulating at some point.

I hope you're able to get some. Can you tell me more about your cycles? ARe they regular? If they are, I would just try TTC on CD 11, 12, 13 and stuff the OPK.

    Sorry Anchor!
Yes, I got identical twins on my first cycle of Clomid.
It is common for fraternal twins (two eggs) while on Clomid. I have read somewhere that because Clomid makes for really healthy eggs, if that egg splits then obviously it's identical twins..
I was lucky that was all I ended up with as I released 3 eggs and one fertilised and split! XX
    Update! Identical twin girls!
