okay now im getting obsessed about this. ive been looking up all my friernds who have boys and this last chart was right for every one (tho im just estimating conception months). for me i plan on TTC in sept (girl) but if i wait one more month (oct) the chart says boy. why did i get myself into this!!!! :-)

Well, hopefully you will get a BFP in September! Seriously, though, I wouldn't put too much stock in it. It can't be right for everyone; if it was a proven, sure-fire way to predict gender, people would be using this instead of spending thousands on high tech!! (that said, though, it doesn't make me feel very good about TTC boy in a girl month!)

Oct is also "proven" scientifically to be more boy-friendly for conception. Honestly though, it's a small percentage and there are still plenty of girls conceived in Sept/Oct - like ME!!

Atomic, why is it that women are less likely to conceive a boy when they are older? That scares me. I am 38 and am TTC boy!

No one really knows, but my belief is that everything that optimum fertility sways blue and people are def. (on average) declining in fertility as they age. Maybe sperm count, maybe EWCM, declining hormones, or some combination.

Don't worry about your age though, I already posted this in another thread but I of course conceived 2 boys in my late 30's (one of which I was even swaying pink), my mom conceived a boy at 37 after only conceiving girls, my grandma conceived twin boys at 38 after conceiving a girl 10 years earlier...there are TONS of people who conceived boys in their late 30's after only conceiving girls.

Well i just checked and it was right for both my ds and my friends 2 children!! Fingers crossed its right for this pregnancy too!

Wrong 3 of 4 times for me! Why is it the only one that was ever right was the one I looked at and got my hopes up so high for DS 3???

It's right for all my girls. Now I wonder what if Im just 1 month before my birthday? Still have to look at the age Im in now right? Not leaning to the next or so because it is so close to it...

Oh and Im almost 37 so gimme my boy already!!

It was right for dd2 and ds, And I was under 18 with dd1, lol.
