I think though, that it is really only effective if you give it 3-4 months before you ttc, and I don't want to do that at this point. I WILL do that, however, if my levels look truly bad.

Lindi, thank you for that awesome post! I do worry mostly now about my egg quality, and a bit about sperm quality, but that is mostly because my DH smokes, which I am all but holding a gun to his head to quit now or I'm not trying this again. It may not be him, but me, but I just feel like after the 2nd m/c IN A ROW that he really needs to cut it out. I don't know if I have pcos, I've never had any symptoms, but I do agree that a doctor's appointment would be a good idea. I am going back for an u/s still on May 3rd so I will talk to them then about some testing. I've had my prolactic, thyroid, and progesterone tested and all were fine, but I would be curious as to what they test other than blood for pcos. I suppose they do some scans of your ovaries during pre-o and O time. I really appreciate your advice, and GL to you!!!!
Keep in mind too that sometimes it has nothing to do with the egg or the sperm, it's that something went wrong with the implantation or the cord or some other thing that was always utterly out of your control.

I would prob. see a doctor at this point just to rule out clotting and immunity issues.

In women who don't have PCOS there might be something else which is causing something similar. An egg ovulating that isn't *quite* ready or maturing in an ideal environment. This makes more sense to me than just saying "chromosomal abnormalities" because I think there are very real things you can do help. And most websites just say, oh well, don't worry luck of the draw... and that's not the whole truth IMO.
I think if you are looking for things to add into your TTC regimen, there are some great things! I can imagine that right now you are grieving and I really admire your courage to start looking towards the future so soon. I will be following and can't wait for your next BFP!
I totally agree about the chromosomal abnormalities - I think that's doctor-speak for, "we don't have a clue what happened".

Lola, I am in your corner cheering you on! Wishing you the very best!!

Thanks, Atomic. I'm going in tomorrow for another u/s to be sure it's mostly all passed out of me, and I will ask them about the clotting and immunity issues.
