Hi ladies! I'm ttc right now, we just took this month off. I just started progesterone tabs to hopefully make my luteal phase longer and hopefully I'll o again around the 20th of august. The diet has been really hard for me and Ive only lost a pound so far. Where are you girls at? What kinds of things are you incorporating into your sways? I just bought a hematite bracelet today to wear in my underwear lol. I'm doing the crystal light drinks a few times a day, skipping breakfast and drinking cranberry. Also picked up some zyrtec. For timing we're going to try at pos opk and another just after o. I think we will try frequent release because we conceived our last boy with a one week abstain, what are you ladies trying for timing?

Oh I forgot mention I work in front of a computer all day so I bought a fan to blow away the positive ions. But the problem is the a/c in our office is freezing cold. I'm going to have to start wearing sweaters soon...in the middle of an Arizona summer lol

I work with a laptop for hours every day and I'm concerned about the ions. Does it matter how close or how far away you are from the screen? Would a ceiling fan help at all or would you need a fan pointing at the screen?
Also, do TV screens cause problems with ions? Thanks for any input!

I apologize if this is hijacking the post... I'm learning the ropes here.

I do not know much about the ions, so I'm sure someone else can respond more fully. The idea is that environmental ions we are exposed to might change the polarity of our eggs. And that could change what kind of ion the egg attracts -positive or negative. If x sperm are naturally negatively charged and y sperm are naturally positively charged the polarity of the egg might attract one or the other. So for a girl you'd want exposure to negative ions and for a boy positive ions.
Environmental factors that give off positive ions are things like computers, microwaves, cell phones, pine, rosemary. Negative ions are given off by waterfalls, rain, ion hairdryers, plants, and lavender.
And I think pH might also have something to do with this.
I have no idea if the ion concept is true or could have an impact on gender.

To return to the original thread topic... I am surprised by how slowly days seem to go now that I'm TTC. It'll be another week before I can use a pregnancy test and that seems like forever! How do you ladies pass the time? : )

^^^that's the idea, it's highly doubtful (impossible) it works for swaying, but it's ok to give it a try for pink, becasue negative ions are good for health anyway. Blue swayers should avoid positive ions which are harmful.

I'm waiting for AF right now (expecting it a week from today) and then we will be ttc! I've taken a week off of my diet, with the thinking (excuse?!) that when I kick it in again even more hardcore for this cycle that it will be more of a shock to the system.

I am very nervous too, bc we conceived both our boys the very first try and I know it will be really upsetting to me if I get a bfn this month ....so I go back and forth between wondering if I'm doing TOO much sway, which will prevent conceiving, or if I'm being too slack, which will get me the bfp, but then probably won't sway pink.

    Good luck to everyone!!
