I was getting about 7ish hrs on average a night when I conceived DD. I tried incorporating lack of sleep into my pink sway and found that I could deal with 7hrs. With DS, I was getting 9-10 hours a night when he was conceived! Ladies who are swaying blue should definitely get their shut eye. If swaying pink, a lack of sleep will help you, I think.![]()

Then don't include it in your sway plan.
Maternal condition sways gender, and someone who is not getting enough rest simply can't be in that good of condition. It does stuff to your body.
Magical calendars that come from Chinese tombs are silly. Lack of sleep is biological.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Sleep loss dramatically lowers testosterone in healthy young men
Sleep deprivation reduces aggression, testosterone in men
I don't include it in the regular sway info simply because I think it's terrible for health and mental function when trying to care for small children as many of us do on a daily basis. I don't want people to be exhausted and trying to do LE Diet while taking care of their kids, driving, and so on.
I do include it in the blue sway plans - making sure people get enough sleep for their blue sway.
I have concerns that people will take it way way too far and as a result it is not my standard advice for everyone. But I do think it sways pink and answer honestly when people ask me.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I love the idea. I have issues sleeping like every woman in my family. I would just stop taking sleeping pills, I will still sleep it would just be broken sleep.

Truthfully, I think this aspect was one of the largest aspects of my sway. I was up at least 2-3 times a night, sometimes 4-5 with my 11-month-old and almost 3-year-old. I was lucky to get 6 broken hours each night. My son was just an awful sleeper for so long. I was running on fumes. And I also was getting sick constantly because my body was so depleted. I certainly DON'T recommend someone trying to put their body into such a state, it is horrible in all regards. But if you are there anyway, I think it does add one more tally in your pink box.

-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)

We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

Giving it to you straight here, my lack of sleep in the months before I conceived DD was absolutely hellish and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I wouldn't be surprised if it took a year off my life, seriously.
