Clomid cycle #1 and first attempt - does this plan sound okay or too much?

Hehe sure thing greeneyes! I haven't been charting because I'm one to go over and beyond with things like that so have avoided it all together but I'll keep you posted I'm day 7 of my cycle today & will apply repHresh for the first time tonight & have our VERY FIRST attempt tomorrow eeeekkk! I'm classing it as bit of a practise go but still very surreal thinking the time has come! Where are you up to on your cycle?

I did clomid and for pregnant second month so agreed was happy I had it in my system. I'll follow u!!

I'm now on cd15. I think I am 2dpo. I had wicked lower back pain, cramping, o pain both sides, and ovulation bleeding Friday morning. I didn't get a pos opk until sat though...? I think my urine must have been too dilute or something. I have a cm dry up (not that there was really much to notice but now I have infertile cm I get post o) and I have the start of a thermal shift. Another attempt is planned for Monday night just in case. hope this mo is it for us!!

Thanks. Trying to decide if I should keep or drop sat's temp. It's possible it was as high as it was due to swollen ovaries as inflammation can cause a temp rise. Either way I think I might have Oed Friday night or Saturday sometime. I think our timing was just right!

Me too greeneyes! I read that you may have diluted your opk's by testing them in the urine for too long? That may be where I've gone wrong in the past?! I've been letting it sit in there until it seeps all the way up the test window and I've never had two lines come up. I'll try just a 3 second dip for now on.. So far no signs of ovulation though.

We had our first attempt yesterday though! I used repHresh and sylk but didn't end up using Zyrtec because I had zero cm. I don't imagine o will come in the next day so I'm anticipating our next attempt could be the one that matters.. It will be Valentines day too (cycle day 12, 6 days after last clomid pill)!

We did another attempt last night but I think the first attempt four days before will be the one. I just wish I felt more confident about WHEN I OEd. I do wonder if I flooded or oversaturated my OPK. I tried it again and it didn't seem to change the results, but the test itself was much fainter then the one dipped with the 3 seconds. If nothing else, dipping it with less time seems to make the tests easier to read! I think we might make another 'just in case' attempt Valentines day as well. I'm worried about a false pos OPK and stuff others have experienced since my temps and opks don't line up just right.

So it's love day today which means attempt #2! I'm becoming such a "girl mum" that I didn't even pay attention to my diary and apply repHresh last night - oops! I got up at 5am this morning instead and used most the the tube so it will be about 15 hours before our attempt, not sure if that's enough time but having no signs of ovulation on its way so now I'm not sure if it will really matter. Maybe it will be the next time (day 16) that will count..

Really hope I do ovulate on 50mg clomid! No idea how long my cycle will be or when to expect ov which is a little disheartening but I'm trying not to put too much thought into it and go with the flow and just DTD every 4 days just incase.

Definitely have another 'just incase' attempt tonight greeneyes - Valentines just seems like the PERFECT day to make a baby girl LOL x
