I allowed them to continue to use my original Trivers Willard blog rather than deleting it. So the LE Diet/HE Diet is on their site as well (in a very primordial form)

NONE of this would be here without Nuthin!!

Someone was kind enough to send me a PM with the name of this site. I have never looked back. To be honest I really cannot believe it still exists. Monica was MIA and there was no maintanence.

Didn't Dr. Potter jump from there to here? I thought he was intagrual in making a copy of that site in case it crashed.
Just between all us close personal friends here, the idea that Potter was in some way "the puppetmaster" behind this site was a rumor started by a couple of people who had an axe to grind against Potter or an interest in seeing this site fail. Totally untrue.

A lot of us started out on IG (myself included) and I am SO thankful to have ended up here. The information here is thorough, backed by science, and easy to follow and understand. A lot of the stuff on IG is OWT and info that isn't completely accurate.

I also really like the environment here-- lots of friendly people, tons of support. I haven't been on IG in a long, long time.

I am sure that the main reason my sway worked was because I followed the information here (vs. doing an IG style sway). I thank Atomic for all the research she has done to make this site what it is for swaying! And I thank NBP for all the hard work she has done to make this site so wonderful. I know I have you guys to thank for the fact that I have my 16 month old son!

Most of IG stuff is out of date, last time most of it was updated was in 2011 when I was trying to sway the first time and failed to get pregnant and my health got worse due to some of their methods.

My "unsuccessful" BUT VERY MUCH LOVED girl sway using IG principles is currently at school...
My SUCCESSFUL GD girl sway is currently sleeping on my chest.

    For me...that's the difference
Proud mom of 3 sweet boys...
    and one BEAUTIFUL little girl!
    (Thanks Atomic!)

I am an old IG member too. I haven't been back in years. The overall tone of IG to got be mean. Their were a lot of exclusive people, if you posted on their thread they would ignore you. People could be just mean and the trolls & technical issues...forget it!

This sight overall is so much more supportive, and practical.

When it comes to the swaying info it falls into that category that I have run into a lot lately of "are you going to believe what someone tells you because they had what you want, or are you going to sit down and think about it and see which one makes more sense?"

Unfortunately when we want something so badly like our DG we'll do just about anything and believe just about any hokey pokey idea that someone deemed an 'expert' tells us.

When I really sat down and thought out the GD swaying theories vs the IG swaying theories, the GD made so much more sense. I am in the medical field and I know a fair bit about the body and the GD theories are just more sound and plausible overall.

I found this site from IG. I was only on it a couple of days but I'm staying here due to the simple fact that people are responding to my posts and answering my questions. Just for that I'm staying here
    praying and swaying

Back in 2010/11 I was a lurker on a site called Plumlily. Does anyone remember it or know if it was an offshoot of IG? I remember it just disappearing one day but I didn't know where to find the info I was after. I am sooo glad that I found this site though, everyone is so supportive, understanding & everything is thought through scientifically & reasonably. I could never get my head around tactics like splime, as I know for a fact my Mum didn't get me & my sis that way!
