BEing stressed does not sway blue.
Being a control freak does sway blue. And that is stressful for some people. But "stress" in and of itself (chronic, unremitting stress over circumstances that are out of your contorl) has actually been shown in studies to sway pink.

Answered Primal in custom forum but for anyone else asking same q:
Above all else you have to do what is right for you and your overall health. Some people get girls eating straight off boy diet and vice versa, and making ANY change in a pink-friendly direction, no matter how small, is STILL swaying and will still up your odds of pink.!!! I don't have my girl yet
but I'm not taking a chance eating like food is going out of style lol. That's how I got my 7 boys. I can't chance eating the way I have for over 13 + years. I believe in low calories increasing chances greatly for a girl! I have a few friends who had boys that ate how I eat then started eating less calories have girls!
Mommy to 7finally had
#1 in 2016! Had boy #8 after. Now returning to try to sway for final child praying for
#2 🤞🙏

Girl without LE diet?
I've been doing a lot of reading & thinking since posting this question and it seems to be that the main reason diets & exercise sway pink is that they trick your body into thinking resources are limited. Not so
limited you shouldn't conceive, obviously, but limited enough that a girl is a better bet.
It makes sense biologically & anthropologically to me. In times of reduced resources our ancestors would, of course have been eating a lot less. They would also have been moving more, looking for food. Men would likely have been gone longer tracking game. We know now that baby girls take in less calories from nursing than baby boys and women in general require fewer calories. It makes sense that female fetuses would also use fewer calories. So fewer resources=more girls because the mother is more likely to be able to provide enough nutrition and if the food shortage continues, a girl is more likely to survive it.
Hopefully that makes sense? It makes more sense to me than testosterone & muscles mass, except as those are affected by a poor diet & more exercise to find food.
So, with all that, if dh agrees to try once more, I now plan to at least cut down what I eat. Hopefully as much as I did when I had mono last month & could barely eat, but as much as I can while dramatically increasing exerciseLast edited by blueeyedguys; June 1st, 2014 at 05:01 AM.

Yes, you got it!! That is the point of the LE Diet! I agree I am not convinced that testosterone has anything to do with it. I think it's fertility improving/declining.
Have you read this yet? You may enjoy it - basically what you just said except a lot more wordy!http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ypothesis.html

I did not follow LE either, I did 3 months of LitenEasy, just low cal but got a bit slack so to make up for the weight I was having trouble losing I started eating crap food, stuff like noodles, empty carbs, fillers, tons of diet coke, flat breads, awful diet really, not nutritious at all! But still kept calories in check though. That and supplements. And no exercise.

I did read it actually. The day after I posted, of course! lol
Very interesting. I'm really in awe of how much work you've put in, not just finding so much info, but also writing it out & replying to everyone. I can't imagine how much time that has taken!2001

I have a long explanation about PCOS and swaying here, including some speculation about the evolutionary origins and why it might be "smart" for some of our genes to sway blue on a higher carb diet, especially when the majority of others are getting girls eating mostly carbs: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html
