not sure if you saw this thread already http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html
rE breakfast, if you need it, EAT IT. It is just one thing that may help a bit. I think you would benefit from eating pure protein in the morning such as ****d cheese or egg whites. No carbs for you at breakfast.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

There are two forms of the diet and I do not know which is better.
Some information has it that everyone with PCOS or fertility challenges should have only whole grains and never white.
Other information has it that people with PCOS or fertility challenges should go gluten free and in this situation it is ok to have white rice and in fact desirable as the brown rice may not be ideal for fertility.
Both sets of information make biological sense to me, both from very reputable sources based on good research and logic, and thus it is something that I personally do not know which is best so must leave it up to each individual.
My suspicion is that there is a genetic component at play and it may be that those who can't tolerate gluten well, are going to do better with the white rice, and those who have more extensive insulin resistance are going to do better with the whole grains. But there is no way to really generalize it more than that and we've been seeing good results with both variants.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

WHere PCOS is concerned you can actually go with one or two whole egg a day, for the most part. You will need to be getting more of your cals from fats and proteins, fewer from carbs, and egg whites are SOO low cal I fear you'd quickly go over on protein and have not enough cals for the day.
