ThaNk you! Actually this is my first AF since having my baby mar 29 2014! So I have been practicing LE but very loosely. Mostly I skip breakfast every day and I've cut back on meat but I still snack and probably eat too many fatty foods.

I'm kinda on the same plan - not bc of meds but bc of my profession... Tbh I wish I could confidently try in May - heck April would be better, but I've not been doing the diet (properly) or exercise (at all) and the only reason I didn't go hard all this time was bc I was waiting for af to return since having ds4, and I've read hard diet changes can prolong that even more. Ugh. Idk what to do.

I'm doing the le diet but not exercising as I knew I couldn't commit to keeping it up. I've got a personalised plan which is great - are you in a position to get one? If you're wanting to do best possible sway in shorter amount of time I'm sure you'll get a lot of ideas from all the forums. I can say for me the diet at this stage has appeared to affect af but as in shorter cycle and lasting only 3 days instead of 6. But this is my first cycle since I've been on diet and have another 3 before I'll be ttc. I'm also temping and charting to pin point ovulation and I'll be using opks although the ones I used last cycle were all negative! hence starting to temp. Hoping for confirmation that everything is working right this cycle!

Ya I've always assumed I'd get one, but this is my slow period (wedding photog) and cash flow is tighter. Gotta talk to Dh - he's on board to take supps and stuff but bc of age we need to relearn what we can do. I obsessed over the articles when ollie was born knowing we'd try one more time but time when af decided to never show up I put it all on the back burner except for skipping breaky which was the hardest thing for me to do, and now it's habit.

Pbn3, which brand of OPKs did you use? What time(s) of day did you test? What CDs did you test on? How long is your cycle on average?(I'm thinking maybe you O earlier or later than you realize.) And how dark was the darkest OPK you got?
Hitme, I can understand why you want to wait but also really don't! I do think with 4 sons you should do the strongest possible sway, even if that means waiting. Can you get clomid or femara to stimulate O? That would help your pink sway too. I'd also recommend reading & posting in the 'what I ate today' LE thread to help give you ideas of how to eat and to stay strict on the diet by being accountable. The diet seems/sounds much more difficult than it is. Once you get into it, it's very doable. Exercise is similar I find, it's the motivation to get started that is most overwhelming.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I would love to get chlomid but not a chance in hell
My doc would rx me. I've never heard of femara
I'm going to do the exercise like a mad woman as soon as af goes (it's killing me!!!) and it's finally nice to go out and do something instead of hopping around the house watching the clock the whole time. Is it still one hour a day that's recommended?
