Thread: Cardio Moms

Yes well I'm used to it now and it got a bit better. it's been much worse, to a point I had to stand to pee! That was the only way to fully empty my bladder. But now I wiggle and change positions and most comes out.

I did an exercise program called mutu to fix my diastis recti. I didn't have bladder weakness but it's pretty common. Not sure if that would be bad for the girl sway since it builds your core muscles a bit.

I understand but a gal in her 20's should not be having to do that!!! (I know it's SO embarrasssing, one time after a birth I had to see a doctor for a "rear end" problem and it was so embarrassing!!!! He was literally the best looking doctor I've ever seen which didn't help matters any)

YES! Omg I totally had the same problem once! I had cysts on my cervix years ago, finally went to the hospital to have them checked out and in comes McDreamy. When he had a look, he said: 'oh that's a common problem, the cyst will diseapear,so no problem, everything else looks great'. I could die right there and then bahaha.

It's true, I'm too young to be having these issues. Not really sure what could help me now with ttc in the near future? I know surgery is an option, but only when you're done having kids? And I was also wondering about building muscle in those regions and swaying pink. But I'm sure it won't affect much?

Mine told me "you are much younger than the ladies I usually get in here" and then took a look and said "your rectum and vagina are very close together...it's gravity that does it, just pulls everything down". Ok can you please kill me on your way out! And yes, it was something that fixed itself anyway so I did that for no reason AAAAAA!!!!!

Don't worry about building muscle in the region, that is ok. I just want to be sure nothing is wrong (like a fibroid) that could have an effect on TTC.

Hahaha yup same for me, seriously, I had that cyst on my cervix for months. He said it would disapear on it's own. The next day: gone! Whyyyy meee? Oh and the questions, I just can't even. Last time at the ob gyn, there was an intern. I think he was just as embarrased as I was, he got all red in the face as I had my legs wide open on the table. Oh god, I was about to start digging my own hole right there and then to craddle in like a baby.

Have you looked at Katy Bowman's stuff? She has a website (katysays.com, I think) and FB page (Aligned and Well). She's also apparently just written a book about diastasis recti. She has a lot of stuff on pelvic floor strengthing, too.
