Is wheat considered multigrain too? What about corn?

Multigrain is irrelevant. Multigrain can mean anything that has more than one grain in it.
Wholegrain = less refined, with more fiber and "phytic acid" which may block nutrient absorption. Usually a little higher in protein too
Refined grain - more refined, little to no fiber or phytic acid, tends to be lower protein.
Multigrain = a product made out of more than one grain blended together. Could be wholegrains, refined, or some of each. The way multigrains are sold most of the time, they are nearly always at least some wholegrains in them.Last edited by atomic sagebrush; October 18th, 2015 at 03:02 PM.

I started off using the word multigrain because that was what the original poster used and since English is not her first language I did not want to confuse her. But really multigrain is not important, it's the difference between whole grains and white refined gains. Usually when a product is marked "multigrain" it means that they have at least SOME whole grains in them.

Bit of hope for you. A good friend of mine who has 2 sons and thought they were pretty much done having kids....
they used the rythm method to prevent (i think that just means avoiding dtd around her fertile window) and it worked the last 4yrs but this past june her window must have been a little off because she is expecting .... and it is a girl!
She said in fact she was eating more food than ever before and more protein because she was taking a weight lifting class and building muscle.
She was a little bummed when her 2nd son was born and her husband said he was 98% sure he was done having kids...she told me she just prayed about how she wanted a daughter and not sure with her husband only giving her a 2% chance...but HE is good
So just giving ya hope that increasing your protein and fat to keep you healthy enough to conceive and carry a baby does not necessarily mean less chance of a girl baby
