With the injections the Drs said they had more control over it and said they would just stop the injections if more than 3 folicals were growing, it would be the same with clomid but not as much control because once you have aken the pills you can't take them back again!
If I didn't respond to the clomid is there a better chance of responding to the injections?
    Does metformin sway girl?
    And side effects on metformin?

Metformin sways girl but I don't think there are any clear stats on it.

You need to start it slowly to minimize side effects like nausea and diarrhea. I started 1 tablet of 500mg per day for 5 days then went to 2 for 5 days and then up to 3 a day. I take it right after my meal, taking it with food reduces side effects. I have been pretty lucky though as I didn't get many. There is also a slow release version that is the same dose as the 3 I take but you just have it once a day. The dr was going to swap me over after seeing how well I tolerated the met.

You are much more likely to respond to injections. It is very unlikely they won't work. I found the side effects minimal, waaay better than those from Clomid. If they plan to monitor you that closely I think you'll respond very well.

I think Metformin has a significant pink sway effect. It does have unpleasant side effects that are common, as purple described, and the ER version is generally better tolerated.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Yes starting the same way 500mg at dinner every night for a week then adding another 500mg for a week then when I go back for my scan I'm being upped to 2 x850mg tabs a day, unless I cannot tolerate them, but they don't think I will have that problem as I didn't have any side effects with clomid,
That being said I did feel shaky and tingly and bad gas (sorry tmi)last night a few hours after I had my 1st dose of meformin.

2x 850mg is good if you are also only having 2 meals for your sway. I still had 3 meals because I couldn't skip breakfast completely.

Whether you have side effects with met has nothing to do with Clomid, they do different things entirely
