    It actually makes perfect sense, because they only have to show up to make a deposit, but it is our body who carries and grows the baby for 9 months inside of us, and nurses it for 9-18 months after that if not longer (in nature, anyway) , and in practically all mammals everywhere, the baby stays with the mom till adulthood while the dad is not always present (meaning our environment is very probably going to be what the baby is living in while the male may not be there.) Since male offspring require more nutrition from the moment of conception all through life, if a mother's environment is harsher, she'll have more daughters as a result since daughters need less nutrition and also do not have to grow up to be as big and strong as possible to compete for mates.

    I must admit being sorely tempted to take a hidden camera in there and taking pictures to prove it because a lot of the country is not Cabelas-y LOL.

    This is one thing I noticed long before I ever even had GD!!

    My Mums friend is a hunter, and his wife is a seamstress (very tiny, meek and mild), they have 9 daughters...he was really holding out for that boy lol
