I'm going to look on the bright side here, SF, and say that maybe this is just what needed to happen for your baby to get enough weight on in case she does come a little early. I am very sure it's no fun at all having to do the insulin but sometimes it helps me to think "well maybe this happened for some reason I don't know and it's so things can come out ok in the end." I know that's obnoxious, probably!
I am hoping that it's very easy and not traumatic at all for you.
