With #3 I ov'd on CD15 so I was (uncharacteristically regular that cycle but had had anov cycle before and mc the one before that. I didnt keep testing after the darkest one when we BD.
#4 I had 1 almost positive followed by 3 days of positive but I was on Femara. Ov'd day 27-29.

I feel very nervous seeing all these questions about how long to abstain for blue. I really strongly urge you guys to have 3-5 attempts in that fertile window and NOT aim at a set number of hours before one attempt. I know they tell you guys to do that on some sway sites but most of us with all boys got our boys having 2-5 attempts in the fertile window.

There are many ways an anov cycle manifests. Rarely, it's exactly like a normal cycle but you just don't ovulate. But this is probably about 1% if that even. Usually, it would be very short (less than 21 days) or very long (more than 35 days, and often even more than 42), and then the period that comes with a short cycle is typically quite light, and the longer cycles may be unusually heavy OR very light and may not follow the pattern of your normal period. It may just be a couple weeks of intermittent spotting!

MOST of the time, though, with a longer than normal cycle you will STILL ovulate and get a normal period. A long cycle does not an anovulatory cycle make, especially when swaying.

Yep I agree, I temp so I knew my cycle was anov but it was also short (18 days).

And def no abstaining here with the 3 boys I had. Just regular BD unless you count e4d as abstinence but I wouldn't. I was swaying PINK with DS3.

I'd say what got me boys was high fat high protein diet, regular sex in general, weights, PCOS and lots of supplements!

Dear rahaye. No I didn't know what swaying was back then. But it was a classic boy sway without knowing. Gaining some pounds, many supplements, healthy but also high caloric diet, snacking all the time, no exercise, PCO tendencies, 3 attempts in fertile window
