Thanks ladies!! I know Atomic is just trying to protect here but you cannot make assumptions about things that you really aren't an expert on. Yes, I know she has a wealth of info but my doctor does fertility on a daily basis and has been involved with some well known studies. You have to remember that my doctor has seen it first hand......also swaying has not really been proven to work. There are too many factors and everyones body is different. Yes, 0+12 is hard....I have no idea how women do it monthly and actually get a girl....luck I guess. I know I was in it because I had an ultrasound and my doctor explained in DETAIL the collapsing egg and all that. It was very interesting!! When I had an ultrasound before my trigger all my follicles were round, one bigger(17mm) than most, and then a few the same size (11mm). Then I triggered 2 days later then IUI 40 +hrs later. When my dr. did the ultrasound right before IUI I had 3 follicles only now showing......2 were collapsed and 1 was starting. So that meant they had been released already the 2 collapsed. This is all not a guarantee but it does help a bit!!!!
I don't know anyone on here that has done it and its really ironic that I met a lady at my sons school who told me about it and did it. She has a little girl after 3 boys. Then I was at the park and a lady and I were talking and she said quietly, that she did this and got her daughter! I thought then it must be an omen!!! I mean I want a daughter so badly, but in all honestly doing IVF was so stressful especially the money part......and I couldn't risk all that money and no baby or put my family in the hole!! So, I really reasoned with myself and said this is it.....if this doesn't work its not meant to be!! Every baby is a true blessing.......I know that if I come out without a daughter I will be upset but at least now I can FINALLY move on! I am done being pregnant.......this is it!!! I really am excited for a new baby but if I am pregnant and its a girl or 2 girls or whatever.....I will be OVER THE MOON!!!
Also, yes, the whole week of O......I didn't eat anything in the morning (i never do) and at the time of my insemination I was so hungry.....well, not starving but my tummy was starting to growl during it!!! I did drink CL and I am hoping the low blood sugar thing helped a little! Everything counts right!! I know she's in there......I know a little girl or 2 is in there.....I just feel it!! Every gender prediction chinese calendar said GIRL! Not one said BOY!! I usually see 50/50 when I do those! I swear they all said GIRL and I was in GIRL moon! I know I am being superstitious.......but it helps me stay SANE and confident!!!!

Yes....this is LUVR4BOYZ from INGENDER and I'm sorry Atomic but are you in the medical field??? Do you have a MD or specialty to make that assumption? Yes, my FERTILITY DOCTOR who is a board certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, TOLD me that she wanted to inseminate me LATER in O because I wanted a girl and X sperm thrive in the environment at the END of Ovulation!! The conditions for some reason or another are more HOSTILE for Y bearing sperm. It's not 100% not even close but it does HELP with swaying more towards the X sperm. Then on top of that I had the spinning done, which is only about 70-75% effective for a GIRL......They wouldn't even recommend this method for a boy! California Fertility Partners are one of the Leading Fertility clinics so they are pretty reputable! For the record, my doctor has worked with Microsort and really DID NOT recommend that for gender selection! The long term effects are really unknown even though they have been doing it now for some years. We still do not know if there is any damage to the sperm during the process which is very very harsh! Also, correction on my Magnesium.....I only took 250mg 1 a day with my calcium which also had Vit D in it!!

Hey, you want to throw away thousands of dollars on badly timed IUI attempts, be my guest. I really do hope it works for you because you deserve a girl and my sole motivation in any of this is trying to help people get their DG in a safe and sane way. However I have a responsibility to the hundreds of people who will read this thread to inform them in no uncertain terms that every reputable RE of which I am aware, Dr. Potter, Dr. Sher, Dr Keefe, and so on, times IUI for maximizing odds of pg and 12 hours after ovulation is NOT gonna maximize odds of pg for anyone. Many women's eggs barely live 12 hours after ovulation and eggs may be deteriorating by that point. This is medical FACT whether it comes from me or a doctor.

When someone who I do not know, and has never posted on this site before, comes out of nowhere with a revolutionary new method for gender swaying that is available for a fee, sorry but my bullshit detector goes off. I saw it happen dozens of times on IG and it's kinda my job here to warn people about unscrupulous people who are only too happy to take $$ to promise gender when the fact of the matter is, nothing short of PGD/IVF can offer that guarantee.

Its costs like 200 for insemination , 200 for spin, then the ultrasounds which are 210 each. I had 3 of them during my cycle, which i am so glad because at insemination I got to see the follicles collapsing....it was just where the doctor wanted them to be. I am also 38 and I took clomid 50mg and responded well...not too much just right. I also had to buy the clomid and trigger shot and I am on progesterone which is EXPENSIVE!! Hope it all works out for me.......no turning back now!!!

Atomic, what did you mean "that's not the methods most of us use"???????? I did diet....no red meat, low sodium, lots of yogurt, dairy.......I did 0+12 once (with insemination) . Supps too......I just altered with spinning and insemination.

We don't always (or even mostly) do things the way they do them on IG. I didn't elaborate because it's not my business when someone is already possibly pg to pick apart their sway and make them secondguess themselves, it serves no purpose other than to upset people.

Really do hope you get your DG.

I don't want everyone worked up over this. I "know" luv from years back on the forums.

We all want to find something that helps our odds. I am pleased to know there is a fertility doctor out there that is at least trying to apply some swaying factors using medical intervention to assist the process. Basically, if you are an O+12 believer, it follows that and yes, pregnancy chances are lower but it was only 4 hours later than a typical IUI which is normally 36 hours after trigger.

I'm impressed you got 2-3 follicles on clomid!

To each their own and if everyone would just use their old usernames we wouldn't wonder who everybody is, LOL!!

Luv, do keep us posted. Someone was asking about an IUI option on the HT forum and I gave them this thread. I really hope it works and you get your girl!

FWIW, Gender Dreaming is not a mirror of IG. We did not believe or follow a lot of what was recommended on IG and we have our own methods, different in many ways, for swaying.

Ultimately, what we choose to follow is up to the individual and that is what we prefer. There is no one right way for swaying. That is what we believe.

Thank you Nuthinbutpink....I like your approach!!! I really am bothered by this Atomic! I really do know you are only trying to watch out for others here but you are NOT A MEDICAL EXPERT!!!!! I know you devote a lot of time to this and really believe in swaying but was it successful for you??? I did NOT by any means come on here to try and sway people to try this at all! Its not by any means 100%!! I am not a fraud or whatever you said initially about my post that you thought it was a fake post or something to that effect! I am a woman in her later 30's who has FIVE BOYSm who has swayed done shettles etc and has NOT given up on a GIRL yet!!! I came on here first because IG is a mess lately and second because I did this and wanted other ladies to keep my spirits HIGH or tell me if they knew others that have done this method!! MY dr. is VERY VERY VERY reputable!!!! A lot of people "Known" people go to them!!!! It's just a theory about the timing and like most theories....there are flaws!!!!! I said a comment about the Microsort because I was just giving info on what my dr thought about it....in no way attacking you!! Although, you seem very confident with dr. potter and he does it!! BTW, I too have researched a lot in the last FIVE years and have spoken to DR. Potter on many occasions and Dr Nelson, extensively and was suppose to have been doing IVF this month but I decided at the last minute NOT to!! I wouldn't do anything unsafe for myself or my unborn child and this was another way of having my husbands sperm separated (somewhat) and inseminated with a better odds of getting as girl than just dtd!!!! Everyone has a choice.....and this was mine! It may work, it may not!! I just hope to God it does.......and I have prayed like no tomorrow!!!! But, for someone to attack me on here saying I am trying to sell something is ridiculous!! I came on here for support!!!! I am not here to preach a method, and I do have 2 people that it has worked for, which both have multiple boys!!! So, I was confident going in!!!

Nuthinbutpink......I actually had 3-4 follicles at time of IUI and I am 38!! My husbands post wash was 103 million! He's 41!! That is the only thing that scares me about the whole thing....his sperm count was HIGH and lots of girls are born with low sperm count BUT that is NOT always true!!!! There are boys born to men with low low low sperm count. So there is always an exception!!! I had my hubby on cranberry and cal/mag so I am hoping that played a little part with the X sperm!! I can only be positive......and I was until my thread was made a mockery!! I am just like all the women on here that want a DAUGHTER....I am no different! I just took a risk and chanced it and sometimes If that is the only resource you have YOU DO it!!! I don't really want to dish out 15-20,000 thousand for one cycle of IVF! I spent $1500 to try this method and that is something I can live with throwing away at this point! I have too many mouths to feed to do IVF and so that is why I decided that all the signs pointed to this for me to do!!

Atomic's just watching out for all of us - she didn't mean to insult you or your doctor. Again, not knowing who you are she has to take all your claims with a grain of salt. Remember what happened on IG when all those trolls started appearing? She's just trying to avoid having this site become like that. (Note - I'm not in any way, shape or form calling you a troll - just saying that we do get the occasional sales pitch here from pretend swayers). Atomic is a fantastic researcher, a very knowledgeable swayer, a selfless supporter, and a good friend to many of us. I know lots of women here credit her and her swaying recommendations for getting them their DG.

We all welcome new opinions and debate - the last thing we want is to become a site where people who don't agree with the majority are vilified like what sometimes happens on IG. For that reason, welcome, and I know we all (including atomic) wish you the best. Many readers might be interested in your methods, so I think it's great to share - please continue to do so. Please do update us on the results. I really hope you have a girl in there.

Not sure how your thread is being made a mockery by a simple reminder to people that people on the Internet aren't always who they claim to be.

I think it is VERY clear that I am in no way attacking you. In fact I would say it's really a lot more the other way around but you know what, I'm a big girl and it makes absolutely no difference to me as long as the facts are down for everyone to make their own decisions.

Please understand, I have NO WAY to know who you are or where you came from. All I saw was a post from someone who I did not know and who obviously had never been on the site before, and seemed very much like a sales pitch and was even quite similar in tone to some phony posts that I remember from IG. I even pointed out in my first response that you very well may be a legitimate poster and now that I know who you are, I do remember exactly who you are. Of course in addition to not being a medical professional, I'm also not a psychic and cannot read people's minds or intentions thru a computer screen and am limited to going off of the way a post comes off.

That having been said, I'm not going to apologize for putting forth the suggestion because this is the Internet and anyone can say anything they want and I am trying to look out for people's best interests as well as I can and will continue to do so. Believe me, if the shoe were on the other foot and you were about to be potentially victimized by someone, you'd prob. appreciate having someone looking out for you. (and that is exactly what I am trying to do by warning you that IUI at O+12 may not be the greatest idea in all of human history because I honestly, really, truly want for you and everyone to get their DG) There are hundreds of people online who bilk people for thousands of dollars for gender swaying methods, even HT methods, that do not work.

I have said repeatedly that I absolutely hope this works for you and if it does, that's great! More power to ya.

I think you need to let this go for your own sanity because you're getting awfully upset at someone who wants nothing more than for you and everyone to get their DG and for you to be safe and not victimized by anyone regardless of how many medical credentials they have behind their name.

Careful Luv, Atomic is my partner here and as a matter of fact, yes, her swaying method DID work for her and although she is too gracious to say anything, I am not. She is pregnant with a DD.

Nobody is criticizing you but you don't need to keep bringing up the "medical doctor" thing because although your "medical doctor" helped you, she is using the same information that atomic and others have access to and they are all just best guesses for what may sway pink/blue. She doesn't know anything different when it comes to timing, clomid and supplements than we do I assure you. We have access and have read through the same research reports and there are many doctors that offer "sperm spinning".

I'm glad you found something that worked for you but I am very protective of atomic.

WOW....well, thanks ladies for being soooo warm and welcoming! I think that this is nasty! I came on here to ask for support and I am not attacking anyone (ATMOIC) I felt attack buy YOU so dont turn this around on me!! Nothinbutpink I think you need to see my perspective here and allow me to defend myself! Now, I am being told that my method is NOT the ideal and now I want to know why??? You say that you are here for everyone, well, let's here then what is it that makes me NOT the ideal for getting a girl??? Are you saying o+12 does not work??? Are you saying that spinning my sperm doesn't work 100%?? Are you saying my diet and supps did not work??? What exactly are you saying??? I have been on IG too for many many many years and I for one don't like people trying to say that I am here to sales pitch an idea about how to get a girl!!! I really think its great to help others.....I do all the time! But, I never try to act like i know it all or put someone down in the process!! I thought that other women in my shoes would help me out here and now I am being accused of things and now ganged up on because of the relationship you have with one another!! Is that fair???? Wow, women are cady!! This is crazy! For anyone else reading this....I truly wanted advice......I needed input not attacks and not telling me the ideal way to sway I didn't do!!!
