It can. Eat a lot!
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I was TTC'ing for 3 months and swaying for 4 or 5 last time and I couldn't even do it w/o cheating. I'm very BLUE in the way I live my life. I eat a lot of meat and prefer red meat, I love dairy, I love veggies to but they tend to be pretty pricey so I don't eat near as much as I'd like to and the way I prepare them gears them blue... I like BLUE swaying things lol and suddenly changing all that is extremely hard. I'm not even swaying anymore and the pinker elements of my life at the moment are driving me nuts. We've recently learned that DH has high cholesterol so we've been trying to eat leaner (i.e. healthier fats... although I think healthy fats sway blue??, white meat over red meat... though we've had red meat a few times since making the change, etc.) and I'm missing red meat in a big way already(chicken and turkey get old FAST!). I want a breakfast chop (the super thinly sliced ones) so bad I can taste it. I'm a big fan of cottage cheese... I could, and to a degree have, lived on it (I was eating it and other dairy products almost exclusively when we conceived DD) but I find the fat free version to be less than palatable so we just don't buy it... so I guess we are swaying girl by avoiding that. Anyway, my point is most PINK things aggravate me and I am not even swaying technically and I still have to deal with it, lol. I'm also going couch potato at the moment because I sit home bored to tears all day so I watch TV to have SOMETHING to do, which also sways pink. I'm also doing some blue stuff (healthy fats, eating breakfast and cereal, etc.) so I can't say I have a solid sway going AT ALL but I'm also not trying to
I honestly gotta give you ladies that do a full-on sway for months and years some SERIOUS props! Ya'll are stronger and/or more determined than me lol.

Nann I ate so much pizza back when I conceived DS1 and DS2. I could seriously eat a whole pizza myself despite my small size. I miss those days. LOL

Twointow, I very much naturally lived a blue friendly life too. I've always eaten breakfast of some sort, lots of oatmeal/cereal, meat, full fat dairy, lots of fortified milk, lots of healthy fats like olive oil, snacking all day. I've been on LE for 8 months now and skipping breakfast for 14 months and it was a massive change for me. I've been doing it so long that it's my normal now but I really do miss eating whatever, whenever I want without ever worrying about cals/fat/protein. I've always hated exercise but I guess after doing it for so long now I don't feel right if I skip my workout. I feel like despite everything I've been doing to sway we'll still have ds3 but I figured I'd give it a go, ya know?
I really hope you still end up getting your rainbow girl. Heck I wish we could all get our DG!'12
