I had my GP appointment today and had to explain everything that happened as they had the discharge summary from the hospital in a big pile waiting to be filed (they found it after I explained the miscarriage to my dr). It set me off emotionally though as I went in expecting her to know!

She didn't have any details about the pathology report from when they sent the sac/fetus away for testing, I don't know what they were testing for as they wouldn't do genetic testing after only 2 consecutive miscarriages but I sill want to know if it picks up anything else.

My Dr wants me to go back to the fertility specialist before trying again in case he thinks I need progesterone support or something else. I guess he might then put me on clomid but I would probably have to wait a few months before that happens.

Now I'm not sure if I should avoid getting pregnant, I was told to wait 2 cycles but that seems to just be what everyone gets told for no real reason. I not planning on trying too hard (no charting or opks) but I'm just going to keep up BDing every 3-4 days. I haven't ovulated yet but I'm not expecting to for another week based on my other two miscarriages.

Prayers that your rainbow find his/her way to you soon. My OB only recommended waiting 1 cycle, but after my D&Cs it took about 3 months for my body to heal (can't recall if you had one or not) & I think that played a big role in my CP as it was during those 3 months. Everyone heals differently though. FX and prayers for you.

Thanks Two. I didn't have a d&c this time, my previous ones I have so I waited until after the first AF. I feel pretty good physically and have recovered a lot quicker than last time since I didn't loose crazy amounts of blood.

I have had a very slight lower temp reading this morning. At 8dpo hoping it's the implantation dip [emoji102]

Can you have pmt/pms during ttw and still get a bfp. Because I just snapped like I always do coming upto my AF. I don't think I'm pregnant.

Purple hi and thanks for updating. I really cant say what I would do in your situation but I think I'd do exactly what your planning on as in ntnp. When do expect to get results back from pathology? From memory, I thought your 7 week scan went well, please forgive me if I'm wrong. Did your gp eloborate any on why she 'thought' possible progesterone issue? I agree as to what you said about waiting to ttc there is so much conflicting info out there and not really anything to support waiting or trying straight away. I had planned on waiting but had an oops cycle following mc but have been trying every cycle since. Someone (I think it was momamia) said her ob or FS said if your body is not ready to get pregnant it wont so I choose to believe that to.

Beautifulrainbow I give up reading anything into any symtoms or signs lol! It could be pms but could also be hormonal changes. Don't feel defeated by your mood! When are you testing? Was it 9dpo? Which is tomorrow your time?

I thought my 7 week scan went well but apparently the 117 bpm heartbeat was a little low for 7 weeks? It was also measuring a day or 2 behind but that isn't always an issue either (I was just hoping it was because it was a girl). I really think my dr has no idea what is wrong and it is a bit out of her depth being a GP so the specialist can help more.

The thing with low progesterone in pregnancy is sometimes it is low because the body knows the pregnancy isn't viable. I don't think mine was low as doesn't it cause sore boobs? Mine were really sore, that was my biggest symptom both times!

So when can you see your FS? And any chance of closer monitoring during then during 1st trimester as in regular bw maybe? I guess this will be things you'll find out when you see FS. Please keep us updated though. And yes measuring a day or so behind would not have been a red flag at all as well as the hb. Hope you get some answers from pathology testing, will you get results from FS?

Agghh.. now I googled low progesterone in pregnancy and it came up saying breast tenderness is a sign. I also read other info that says high progesterone causes breast tenderness... confusing much?

I'm not sure, I will ring Monday to see when I can get in. It is slightly annoying as my office is right next door but we are moving next month but it will take about 10 mins to get there from work so I can't complain.

The hospital were the ones who sent it away but I have no idea where it went and if any results will get sent to my Dr. She has asked the reception staff to chase it up.

When I got my BFP I rang up the FS and because I got pregnant naturally they didn't follow me up with any monitoring and I was told to go to my GP to organise scans, etc.

Hormonal yes defently. I lost my temper then I was upset and crying. Got sore boobs. And I just started welling up in Costa coffee ordering a coffee because the barista smiled at me. But to me losing my temper and sore boobs a week before I get af is usually a sign of af coming.
Did a hcg test this am negative at 8dpo was expecting it to be that so I'm not upset about that, but I'd thought id just give it a go!
