GeekMama, I’m so happy for you that everything looks good on your skin yesterday! What a huge relief! What a sweet little 5 year old!
MLKA, Congratulations on a great scan to you too! Was that the first time your 14-year-old was aware of the pregnancy? How exciting for your family! Your suptoms sound just like mine

I think I’m going to have gestational diabetes again with this pregnancy. I’m only 9 weeks, but I had a dental apt this morning that took a while, and by the time it was over I’d gone past when I usually eat lunch and I felt really weak and my hands were shaking and my thoughts were a bit fuzzy. I went to the first food place I saw and I ordered a sample platter to share with my little one because I couldn’t concentrate on what to order and figured it’d be a good variety. When I paid, my hands were shaking so bad I was embarrassed. She probably thought I was coming down from
Something or something. Luckily the platter was delicious. I recognize exactly what happened from my past pregnancy though. I was having a hypoglycemic episode. Which means I probably am already having blood sugar issues. I’ll do a one hour fasting glucose test Monday..... I hate the strict diabetic diet, which will be even harder with nausea

And then my partner whose an OB/gyn made me feel awful by warning me that panicle blood sugars can cause miscarriage, not that I wasn’t feeling awful about it already
