My midwife called. I'm meeting her at the hospital in an hour to get a cervix check, do a NST, and get a stretch and sweep.

Yeah hobb mine is a real mans man .. He is good to me but he most def puts his sport first. And with all the sport comes the drinking which I dont mind it if its not all the time but when I am starting to get on now in pregnancy and I am not having a good one I think its very selfish of him. My MIL had to watch our d/s for 5 hrs yest because I went to just a ctg appointment but couldnt come home because of the blood pressure thing and where was d/h?? At the bloody pub of corse! Mad monday they call it! after drinking sat and sunday aswell!

Pinkin, that would make me crazy! My DH is sort of out of touch as far as what I need/what I can't do during pregnancy, and he does go out and drink some. I get really mad when he gets really drunk. He is so useless!

wow, so much i have missed out on over passed couple of day!

Mocha, i sure hope you are either now having or holding your baby girl...sounds sure like she is making you wait, but she will be worth it!!!

Pinkin, sorry to hear your having a hard time with your pregnancy, and yeah men sure have it easy!!!

I have been ok since last week, contractions stopped. I had my growth scan today and Baby Charlie weighs around 2047g which i think is about 4lb 5ozs. It was a great scan she showed us him waving, yawning and also could see the hair at the back of his head.

I have issues with the homebirth that i want, and i feel totally neglected. I have said from day 1 that i want one and they still haven't signed me up for one every appt i have told them i want it but have had no info. I was meant to go to a information evening last week and when i phoned to confirm where the venue was, i was told that they held it the day before and i wasnt informed because they still haven't signed me up for one. I have lots of questions and so does my DH. I have an appt with my community mw on Thursday and if she doesnt sign me up and answer questions i have then a complaint will be going in and DH will be delivering Baby Charlie...

So much been going on here thats why i haven't been on much. My dog dislocated her hip and we have been back and forth to vets with her. My dad had triple heart bypass end of last year and we think he had a mini stroke recently, he had a scan and it shows he has actually had 3. So he cant drive for 3 weeks and i have also just become my mums carer so i am now driving them about as dad cant if they need to go anywhere x

Sorry it took me so long to update, ladies. I had my cervix check and I'm still only 1-2cm and 50% effaced. She gave me a sweep, hooked me up for a NST, then gave me another sweep before I left.

She really wanted me to get done rest and offered morphine, but that made me sick the only other time I took it so instead I tried Benedryl. I just got up from maybe a 45 minute nap so I feel a bit better, but still really feeling low about how all the incredibly intense contractions I've been having haven't done much to change my cervix. It's really making me dread the rest of labour.

So sorry you're feeling so discouraged Mocha! Hopefully things will pick up for you...AFTER a good might's sleep tonight. Take a Tylenol PM tonight.

Mocha, I was sure you were off having that baby! Are they willing to offer you pitocin (and would you want that?)
