Im sorry it doesnt look good northern, but its not set in stone yet hun, it could just be one of those exception nubs.

Ive been sent home from work with bad cramps and the epu have told me to go in for a scan tomorrow morning, which has scared the hell out of me if im honest. The cramps feel like early labour cramps, not like af cramps, in fact they feel like horrendous braxton hicks but theyve been coming and going for 2 days so i thought id better phone them, expecting them to say its prob a uti and to drop a sample off. But they said they cant tell anything until they scan me.

So now im doing my best to stay off google!

Keep your fingers crossed bubba is just snuggling in ladies.

Tmba - thanks for the tip, I don't know of I'm brave enough to try that as nauseas as I've been but if it gets bad enough I will!

AFM, DH's job situation is stressful. The good news is he got a call back for a follow up interview for this job he's going after. There's no guarantees so I'm not getting my hopes up. In the meantime his boss is making life hell for him. It's so obvious she's trying to build a case for HR so she's constantly blind sighting him and calling meetings to discuss his "performance". Her latest complaint? He didn't answer her call immediately because he was on a call with a client. I hate that he's going through this. I wish this would come to an end soon. We need his salary to survive, I just hope he gets this other job so he can move on.

Oh that is a fab scan pic Northern, sorry it points up Hun but don't lose hope yet I've seen very clear nubs go totally the other way, I even had a real life friend who got told boy at 3 different scans from 16 weeks to 32 weeks but gave birth to a girl who then had to wear blue for the first few weeks!!

I'm so sorry your hubby's job situation is still rubbish girly, I will cross everything the follow up interview goes really well.

Ribera What does hypnobirthing entail? I really really hope everything looks perfect at your scan, I'm sure it is just a UTI xxxxx

Hypnobirthing is amazing!!! I used a home study kit (ill find the link to it) and i had a totally natural birth with no gas and air til i was pushing and even then i didnt want it it just gave me something else to focus on lol. Much better than my induced epidural and ventouse birth with dd1

My scan is at 11.20, so not long to wait. Im getting nervous now though, i dont think i can cope with bad news

Baby is fine!! A tiny jellybean with a beautiful heartbeat we are measuring 9+1, there seems to be no reason for the cramps so ive been told to rest and go back if they get worse.

I cried.

I feel like i can relax now and look forward to the 12 week scan, rather than dreading it. We didnt get a photo this time, we will wait til the next one, but baby was beautiful

AHHH so so happy your scan went well, that's brilliant news! Maybe try and rest a bit more, I walked a bit too much the other day and had such bad cramps that evening I honestly thought I was going to miscarry.

Thanks for the link, I've not looked yet but will as soon as I get the monster asleep tonight. I managed a natural birth with no pain meds last time but mostly just because I only made it to hospital when I was 7cm and by the time I got examined I was ready to push so there was no time! It's a bit of a worry because this birth has a lot to live up to now, if that makes sense! Have my booking in appointment on Tuesday to do the forms and bloods etc. what colour are your notes? Mine are green this time, my last ones were yellow!
