It was from nimble diagnostics sydney; maybe I contaminated it? I have no idea.

What kind of blood test did you have? That seems odd you don't have much information about it.

Hi, I did it in my office and it had alcohol swabs to use on your finger but the only thing I would question was my finger nails? at one point the blood did run into it and cause it was such a big bit I wasn't going to waste it! it was so hard to get blood and I pricked my finger many times! I did it when I was about 7/8 weeks... I was shocked to hear boy, it sent my head in a spin but my symptoms have been so different this time round I had to get an elective scan to check so I could prepare before my next scan. I really hope your okay, I know how your feeling

Mumto3boys- can I ask about your test? Do you think you could have contaminated it with male DNA?
I am nearly 12 weeks and also would love a girl my gender blood test came back as boy, I am praying its wrong. I did the test at 7 weeks from conception. Mine was an at home one with me pricking my finger, dropped the container a few times on the floor and didn't get that much blood. I am hoping my situation is the same as yours but also feel my dreams of a baby girl have been crushed. Got my 12 week on Monday.

Well, had my ultrasound scan today and it's been confirmed I'm having a baby girl! It's crazy but still finding it hard to completely believe lol

Mumof3boys. Mine is exactly the same- definitely got under my nails as was so hard to do didn't want to waste any blood either. Mine is also from nimble diagnostics but from the London branch.
Will keep my fingers crossed for the both of us. I have been so sick but I always am till 16 weeks with all 4 pregnancies. Although with boys I was sick earlier in the day whereas with this pregnancy it is late evening after dinner most days. Similar to my daughters pregnancy. I will be hopeful until my 16 week gender scan proves otherwise. We are flying to Perth on Tuesday as need to get our residency visa stamped before October. Just been granted our visa for Australia so hopefully will move there next year.

The only problem is in the uk at my hospital they don't tell you the gender at 20 weeks and 12 weeks no way. Will be booking a gender scan at 14-16 weeks as I am desperate to know.

GPKM, surely you should get an anomaly scan around 16 weeks as standard. They're usually happy to tell you the baby's gender then if baby cooperates.

I just looked that company up, I didn't realize there was these knock off companies doing the blood test. It's not the real materni21 or harmony test that is taken at 10 weeks by a professional and not only does gender but also chromosomes 13,18,21.
I would only believe the real tests like materni21 if it was me. And it was taken so early at 7 weeks?
I think you have a great chance of it being a girl and wrong! The test doesn't seem legit, but that's just my 2 cents...hope you have another u/s soon!

How do I even begin!! I'm 14 weeks and 1 day so says my private scan today... everything is perfect and as he scanned me I searched and searched for a penis, a dangle bit anywhere - nothing, could this be??

I lied to him I said I had a girl and a boy so he wouldn't sway his decision, he then scanned over the potty shots and it was jumping around but he said don't worry we'll wait... he got several shots and in his professional opinion he had no doubt that we were looking at our DAUGHTER!!

WTF!! I said can you look again please barely able to contain myself I just wanted to hug and kiss this total stranger!

I said so your saying there's no sign of dangle pieces anywhere and he said No after checking 3 more times then wrote G I R L on my scan picture.

The blood test was WRONG WRONG WRONG - 95% - I'M IN THE 5%!

Me and my husband have been bawling for two straight hours.!!!

Congrats! I am so happy for you! Did your heart start pounding like crazy when he said girl? Mine did! It was a crazy amazing feeling!
