OMG!!!!! Tmi but I had zero cervical mucus until yesterday had a little and then today lots so I tested an OPK tonight and I got a smiley face on the OPK ! So ovulation was just really late! Of course didn't test yesterday but was negative on Tuesday when my DH and I dtd late Tuesday night. Ugh now to decide whether we try again tonight or just count the other night? Eeek! I think I'm going to call Tuesday night our attempt since I was already considering this a lost month. So hard though when I really want to be pregnant. What do you think????

kidandcatmommy - if it was me I would definitely BD, but thats just me, been TTC for too long, am almost 36 so time is running out and need to be PG NOW. you dont know how long after the positive OPK you will O. If worried you could always do SET or J&D.

looby I really dont know, I am guessing if I did O, it could have been somewhere between last friday and monday? So anywhere between 4-7dpo. If i did O that is, since sunday i have had super faint negative lines on OPKs and given how dark they were getting towards the end of last week I am hoping that I either had false negatives on thursday/friday, or missed the surge on thursday/friday/saturday because I only tested once a day then couldnt test on saturday. We BD on wednesday and friday so if I did O in that timeframe at least I am in with a shot

you know, I am actually not going nuts. After that 95 day cycle I had which took symptom spotting to a whole new level, now I am like well I have done what I can do. I am reasonably confident I did O. I have had negative OPK tests all week and no EWCM since the weekend (so have been able to avoid BD haha!) - I am going to keep OPK testing just in case I didnt O but I am reasonably confident I did. Of course it doesnt mean we caught the egg and I will be gutted if/when AF arrives though!! Trying to ignore any kind of symptom as its too early anyway.

Steph I think you definitely ovulated and have a great chance of having caught that egg I have everything crossed for you!!!! The holidays and relaxing the diet a bit would have made a huge difference to your cycle. You could have that holiday baby yet lol!
