Hi ladies,
Rough night tonight, DD1 is at the ER with hubs - she was dancing in the playroom with her sister before dinner, Îd put some music on for them..and she spun and spun until she hit the metal frame of the daybed, bump ting her forehead super hard. Blood everywhere, open wound, panicked mama..I put pressure, I put ice..bleeding receded, but asked hubs to get home asap..she was obviously shocked, but was acting slowish and her pupils were dilated...so we decided it best to go to Lady cilentos ...her sister went berserk crying and asking for them for an hour before she finally crashed to sleep.
Finally got a text from my husband saying she is ok, but will likely need stitches..have been bawling my eyes out. Feel so guilty ..had I not put on the music they wouldn't have danced, or spun like silly and this would not have happened. So much for trying to distract them while waiting for the goddam quiche to finish cooking
Anyhoo, fx she is going to be ok, so scared of concussion... makes me nauseous.
Max, still very early, sô tomorrow could be a very different test![]()

LMSM - Glad she's okay! Don't blame yourself....think of the fun and laughter they had beforehand. Plus in 10 years time they'll be saying, 'remember when we danced and twirled so much that I bumped my head and got stitches?'
These are the memories children love and laugh about, plus they love battle wounds and the extra attention. You can never predict these things. I work at a school with an outdoor program and lots of risk. Our research showed that more children are hurt or die in car accidents than anything else, yet we put our children in them everyday.
AFM: I have increased my food intake after calculating everything yesterday and Atomic said to bump it up too. I would like to try to attempt every 4 days instead of 1 attempt. Thoughts?Mum to three beautiful boys and one gorgeous daughter

Thanks lovelies, just wish they were back, so I could cuddle her...shés such a brave little lady but she's still only a tiny girl, barely 4
she should be in bed dreaming of the cake we will make her daddy tomorrow..though I know for a fact she will indeed see it has an adventure and brag about her battle scars to friends next week

Hopefully she's home soon so you can give her cuddles! No four is still a baby in my opinion. I have a four year old too! I consider all of them still my babies! Even my almost 14 year old! Lol "hover parent" that's me for sure. This year is the first time I've ever let him stay with a friend over night, and it was still a battle with myself!

Thanks hon, oh yes they stay our babies forever!!!
They're back now, they were able'to glue the wound instead of stitching it..after a snack, cuddle and book, she was ready for bed....9.40pm, over 2h her normal time, she was exhausted ! Now, her mum won't sleep keeping her hawk radar on but at least they were comfortable with her vitals'etc so it's just a matter of keeping the wound dry while it heals over the next few days, and ensure she doesn't show signs of a concussion...
Now to try and resta bit! Thanks again ladies for dealing with my panicky crying momma moment!Lucky Mummy to 4 sweet divas (2013) (2015) (2018) (2021) and 1 sweet boy (2024) that completed our family

LMSM, I'm obviously not 100% sure but believe I O'd Thursday June 8. That's also the day I got my positive opk, but I didn't test the evening before and believe I would have gotten my first positive then.
