Verena yea I'll research more on Femara - neither my obgyn or RE have mentioned it so I wonder if it's not something they prescribe much. I don't even know if egg quality is really my issue - my FSH and AMH numbers are good.
I'm still so excited about your beautiful scan yesterday - and you get another one next week yay!! Maybe you will see a heartbeat by then if you'll be a little over 6 weeks?

No worries! I'm always around, haha!
And yes, that's exactly what hyperfertility is suspected of being! A small study was even done that observed the endometrial lining of hyperfertile women "reaching out" to grab everything compared to women of normal fertility where that only happened with viable embryos! There's also a Professor Quemby in the U.K. who's a big investigator into it who has other observations on it as well.

That's fascinating!!! Have you talked to your doctors about this? I'm definitely going to research it!! So if that's what's going on with me do I just keep getting pregnant and hope I finally grab a good egg? My first two losses were at 5 weeks and my betas at 4 weeks were awful so I feel very sure those were not OK from the beginning. The 3rd one makes less sense.
It would seem like hyperfertility would sway more boy but if you got a girl with it I guess I'd still have a chance!2013

I also have the perfect environment thing going on. After test after test.. It's diagnosed with unexplained infertility for us bc hubby has no issues either.
I feel like any woman who has gone through ivf feels like it's a bloody miracle anyone gets pregnant at all! You start with X number of healthy eggs and X number get fertilized then less than 50% of that makes it to day 3.. Then less to day 5. Then once you send off for PGS you find maybe only half of that number (if you're lucky) are normal. I think after age 30 it gets tougher for chromosomaly perfect babies too.
Such a numbers game! That's why we did IVF bc I was sick of having chemical pregnancies or NOT getting pregnant every month.. that and my second trimester loss.

That's what my obgyn keeps telling me - that with everything that has to go perfectly right, he thinks it's a miracle that anyone ever has a baby! I wish at this point we could do IVF/PGS but the funds definitely aren't there for it. Have to just keep hoping we catch the right egg I guess!!

This times a MILLION!! The true miracle is that it happens successfully as often as it does!! SO many things have to go exactly perfectly and we are talking about countless chemical reactions and DNA replications and perfect hormone levels all happening in precisely the right order!!

So far I only have some mild symptoms. I have to get up at night to pee once, which I only have in pregnancy. By 6 pm I get so tired that I can hardly keep my eyes open. Which is fun with two boys not sleeping before 9 pm ;-) Feeling weak and shaky, especially when I stand up. And some mild waves of nausea. I think that was worse in my last pregnancies at 5 weeks so I really hope it won't get that bad this time, but I guess I will know in two weeks. That was when I started vomiting with DS1 and 2. Do you have any symptoms yet?
I don't want to get on your nerves and I know I wrote this before, but maybe you could really think about taking femara. I read that clomid is good for quantity of eggs and femara for quality. Maybe this could make the difference for you, or at least give you some peace of mind to do something different than before?

Probably like you said because of the chemical and the FET stuff. I still feel like my hormones are still out of wack after my D&C/ miscarriage. It's annoying!!
I know I know it can, but after 3 in a row I feel my body doesn't know how to do all that anymore!
