Girlsway- I know it feels great to spend time with your boys and prepare for your baby girl!

Fish- how exciting for your shower. I would tell them it's a girl if it were me!

I'm still hanging in there. Had an ultrasound done to check my cervix and the doctor said it was so thin he couldn't even see it on the screen. Basically not much keeping baby in but I'm happy for every hour I stay pregnant. No hope of going home before baby comes so I'm stuck on hospital bed rest. I'll have to live vicariously through all of you and the things you all are doing!

How is everyone else feeling? Anyone else getting anxious? Even though I always wanted 4 kids it has only recently hit me that "OMG I'm going to have 4 kids!". Sounds silly but as it gets really close the reality is hitting. I know it's going to be a blast but there will be challenges too... eek

I've been having a lot more contractions the past 3 days now... I'm not too worried about them they never turned into the real deal with the others so I wouldn't expect it this time but I will get checked if the start regulating obviously

I was thinking of doing labor and delivery alone this time well with drs and nurses... People think I'm nuts but DH is going to have to stay with ds3 I think cause he has too much separation anxiety and I. Not traumatizing him... Anyways DH is useless anyhow so I don't care... But there is no one I care to share this with... It's a big day... And I shouldn't share it with people I don't want to... My flipping cousin literally has kept inviting herself to the birth! The last person I want there... My best friend lives 8 hours away and she won't make it obviously my mom... I don't know we're not on the best terms right now.... Do people do this alone or am I crazy? Cause it actually sound nice lol other than the fact there would be no one to take pictures of the little guy....

The midwives would take a picture for you, I couldn't do it on my own I have to say I will kill my dh if he doesn't make it ;-) however better to have no one than someone who's going to put you on edge in my opinion!

Southern glad your still there! Yes I'm thinking if people are going to get gifts it's daft not to tell them ..........might see what dh thinks

WAG, I read somewhere that mammals tend to retreat to their "safe zone" when in labour and that obviously, that place is different for everyone. For some people that's at home, for others in hospital etc. So if you would feel more relaxed knowing that your DS3 is with your DH then I don't think that's crazy at all! Everyone's labour "space" is very individual.

I agree with Mum and Fish, you need to do whatever is going to help you feel the most calm and relaxed for labor. I'm sure the nurses would be happy to take plenty of pics.

Thanks .... I just think having ds3. Somewhere I know he's not going to be happy is just going to stres me out beyond belief...I don't know maybe I will make my mom come... Just invade their we're complications...

Ugh it's only 8 am and I'm ready for the day to be over!! I'm ready to tie up all 3 and make them watch shows for the rest of the day..... They are all being so naughty and I don't have the patience for it!!
