Had the first little bit of ice cream today which didn't disagree too much. Loves milk, especially in milkshake form. And cheddar cheese. CANNOT handle coffee. At all. Not only the taste but the smell too, especially cold, white coffee. Morning commutes are thankfully short, so I'll live.
Funny how the LO develops a taste for things, Lol!! Mine always gets the last bit of pudding or extra cake as in 'one for the baby too!' He particularly enjoys crisps, sweets & milk. I'm so hungry some days, I'm really glad I'm carrying so low as I can still eat a big Sunday lunch followed by pudding! And I wonder why I have boys.... Back on to LE within a year I hope, so I'm making the most of it now!

I have another MW appointment on the 19th, by which time I will be 36 weeks. I am really hoping LO will stay put until after Christmas as our local hospital, which we have registered with for having LO there only accepts women from 36+0 weeks as they have no dedicated neo-natal unit. This hospital is only up the road, otherwise we'd have to go to the next one with a baby clinic, but that's around 30 minutes in the car from here and would make logistics so much harder.

Dreamofpink, back onto the diet for losing the baby weight or already planning your next sway?

Bunny, you may be lucky and get a look at the nub at 13 weeks, but most importantly you will see your LO again, which no doubt will make you feel so happy. Will you be having a private gender scan or waiting for your 20 weeks scan?

Oh yes, cakes, chocolate and biscuits are right back on the menu! Went right off everything sweet for up to 2 weeks. Miserable times. S/he loves Christmas cake already. Thankfully it's expensive and only available for a short part of the year or I could see that becoming a problem!

I don't normally eat a lot of crisps, but did find that salt and vinegar (must be high in vinegar or don't bother) really helped me with the waves of nausea.

Mmm yes, salt & vinegar Discos are really good for that or Pringles. I love it when they make your mouth tingle. I love really spicy crisps too.

I still have to ice the Xmas cake that I made a year ago while swaying! It'll be nice & mature by now.

My next sway if DH comes round to it - again! - hence trying to put enough weight on. Atomic advised me to do that & I have eaten more than I'm hungry for at times. LE really helped me identify my actual appetite iykwim.

I can understand you wanting to get to 36 weeks totally. I was relieved to get to 34 weeks here as that's all the local SCBU take on. Fx he stays put!

LOL exciting! In some ways that makes this pregnancy super indulgent and luxurious for you. This being my last I feel like I have no such excuse. Also, LE totally ruined my taste. I have no idea what I want anymore. Haven't completely gone back to my previous cravings or food tendencies, and haven't really stayed on the LE ones either. I feel like i'm hungry all the time but often have no idea what I want (first time EVER) so often skip a meal because I simply can't decide or don't feel like anything I have at home. Its so strange!!!

However all this food talk is making me hungry!

Meeks I feel exactly the same way about food! I was struggling on LE always hungry and now I skip meals until I am STARVING because I just can't decide what to eat. That makes cooking for the family very hard. I don't have really any craving and I noticed my sense of taste is way stronger since I am pregnant. Never experienced that before. The other day I wanted some Pringles but after eating a few I noticed they just don't taste like they used to. Way too strong. Can't eat candy anymore because it tastes as if it's pure sugar and the other day we've been out to our favorite restaurant and the food tasted so salty that I could not eat it. I keep asking DH if he feels the same but he doesn't notice a difference.

GeCon we could afford the NT scan but we feel like we would only be doing it because we might have a chance to take a look at the nubs and we would rather safe the money and buy something nice for the kids. Last night it came to my mind that I might as well just pay for a regular scan which would be only 30€ and ask if I could have a full body profile pic.
Regarding the hospital: I gave birth to DS in a hospital only 10min away but with the twins I won't be able to do so because they don't have a neonatal unit. I am hoping I won't need a c-section since I want to go home a few ours after giving birth.

Dream how exciting to celebrate Christmas with a newborn. Oh I can't wait to hold my babies!!! DH and I keep imagining how it will be going from 1 to 3 kids but thankfully we are very excited about a house full of kids. I bet our neighbors are going to freak out when they find out .

Meeks, I couldn't have worded my eating habits since the LE diet any better. I don't really feel like I fancy anything, which as Pumpkin pointed out makes meal planning very difficult. I also find that I could have the same meal a few times a week without any change, which of course is not great for the family.

Pumpkin, if you would only do the scan for the nubs, just go for a normal scan and get the kids something nice with the rest of the money.
