Glad you found the thread, thanks BIt was crazy, especially as I was in charge of the little ones, I felt like Rain Man at some points! After this happened I 'then' looked for possible side effects and found quite an interesting one, I'll see if I can find it
But quickly, I did feel the benefits, I just took too much, too soon. I suppose its like the difference between a puff of a 'roll up'
and swallowing an ounce of the stuff, they're both herbal right!

http://www.highonhealth.org/what-nob...-side-effects/ This was the one I found at the time. And whilst I'm thinking about it, it can and did cause me awful stomach problems to the point I stopped eating, had rapid weight loss, went for a scan for gall stones and instead they found baby 8 lol, and after that weight loss of course baby was going to be a girl!!
Meant to add, everyones experiences is in the comments at the bottomLast edited by ELP; August 11th, 2011 at 12:27 PM.

Begonia: I am starting to think an all purpose Prenatal will be in my future if it takes longer than August/Sept. I know when DH gets home he is going to say...."MORE PILLS". "You know we did get pregnant several times without those things". Is you Rainbow Light a "1 a day" pill? Capsule or compact pill?
Lola: Girl, you have everything a swaying woman could want at your house!!! Sounds like you have a very fun lifestyle. I ask hubby every year to take me to the Nutcracker Ballet.....we just never get around to it. Plus, with so my relatives and all, the $$$ goes quick around that time of the year.
Alexis: Any word on Hubby?
So today I bought ....
Vit D
B complex
Vit E
I was looking for Royal Jelly, but couldn't find it. Any of you ladies that take it, how long does it take to work?
Oh, and I was looking into the Wondfo tests....Any experiences?
I think I may have figured out why my cycle was soooo much longer, I had been grinking 2-3 large glasses of green tea every day and gelatin. Do you guys think that would have any effect?thank you GD

Yes! Green tea can impact your cycle WP. Gelatin as well due to the extra testosterone. My Rainbows are in a compact pill. I hate taking them. Last time they didn't make me queasy but maybe the formula is different now; once I finish this bottle I might get a different one. I didn't take the RJ but I know others have had it work in as little as one cycle, though I've read it can take up to 3 before you see a big difference. So does your DH really want another boy or is it more you? With us it is surely more me; DH will be over the moon if we have a son but he has never had so much as a minute of disappointment over the girls.
Happy to help Lola! Glad ELP could serve as a Maca guinea pigFor real though ELP that sounds like it was quite scary; did the symptoms stop as soon as you quit or did they just gradually fade? It does sound like in small doses it could be good stuff though.

Well, I just did a bit of research on the maca, and I don't think I want to take it with the Clomid. However, it is supposed to be excellent for DH in boosting all aspects of sperm, and libido also (who can argue with that). I think I'm going to add it to his trough, LOL.
On the supp humor tip, you should see our set up. We've both got those multi-pill daily organizers for morning and night, and he laughs at me on Sundays when I pull this giant heavy bag of pill bottles out of the pantry and start playing pharmacist with my list and all. I am very much looking forward to the day when I just take one big fat prenatal!

That is a nice mental image, LOL! Good to know about the maca for the DH's though. Could be a great add to their supps. I was super lucky that DH was already taking fish oil, vit D, and a zinc + b-complex. He wasn't down with swaying but he wasn't taking any of that before we got pg with the girls so I'm hoping it gave him a boost.

Yea, green tea can make it longer, I think so. I only have one cup a day, try cutting back a bit? But, your nice long LP is not a bad thing!
I take RJ capsules, I just got them at the health food store. I don't know how long they take to work, but they are supposed to be a great boy supp b/c they are a superfood. I don't think they mess with your cycle, no harm in taking them. Lots of the successful swayers have taken them. They don't carry those at like Walgreens, you have to go to a specialty vitamin/herb store or health food store with a good vitamin section. I bet Vitamin Shoppe has them, though, and many other places you could order online. Speaking of ordering online, I just got Wondo tests on Amazon, like 40 opks and 10 hpts for only $9!!! One of my gfs here used them and loved them, they are very sensitive and highly rated.
Thanks for the compliment! Our lives are Nutcracker Central from Thanksgiving to Christmas, it's insane. I do love that ballet, though, there is nothing like that story to get you in the mood for Christmas. But I TOTALLY hear you with expenses, if we didn't do what we do for a living, I would not be able to afford many ballets either! What ballet company are you nearest to?

I'm sure it did! Zinc is supposed to be a big sperm booster. I can't wait to see what you have in there, B! Gonna be a long 30 week wait, you stinker!
I am so curious to see what my DH's SA comes back with....I think he's going to do it on Monday. Poor guy, I told him he didn't need to, but he now thinks it's him and wants to know. He knows I'm just going to stuff him with more pills, LOL.

Oh I'm curious about his SA too Lola, just knowing what he went through back with the tortion, and all the ... umm, heat his business takes from being wrapped up tightly. Hopefully it is sky high with all the supps and such!
I was just posting on the blue crew grad thread that unless the doc gives me a pic with a glaringly obvious nub shot I'm not sure I want to even have that hint of nub guessing! This past week I've actually been a-ok with the idea of another girl, part of me even gets really excited about it, but I worry that if I acutally knew it was a girl I'd be upset. So I'm down with waiting....plus, if it is a boy, I really think the surprise at delivery will just be amazing after reading Frogs delivery story so now I want to wait it out for that!
But I want everyone else who is swaying to find out !!!

B- for extra fun my birthday falls on Easter sometimes too lol
Alexis- boo for kidney stones, hope Dh feels better soon.
Lola- I hear ya, I hate being chunky and constantly eating. I too long to return to my old ways, every time I grocery shop I hope I don't run into anyone who knew me in my size 8, love to run days. Look on the bright side, the girl swayers are starving lol sounds like the carnival was a great distraction for you and yum for vodka snow cones! Oh and I think it's great Dh is getting his swimmers tested and you are keeping at this. I know you'll get your tiny one
Wp- yeah for mini meatloaves, perfect for boy! I heard green tea can mess with things but I was chugging it for months and never noticed any changes except tons of ewcm! I loved the WondFo opk's but I got crazy evaps with the preg tests, as long as you take em and toss em you're fine but if you save them to obsess they can be misleading.
B3b- this stuff is all so confusing but you've got the right attitude, sway to the fullest on the things that make sense to you, ignore the rest.
Omg ladies 14 wks! I'm actually starting to get really excited somewhat against my will lol FX for some bfp soon!Last edited by 3Pink1Blue; August 11th, 2011 at 02:30 PM.
