I got my 8 week confirmation scan today and I'm really nervous. Because of my lack of nausea (well not completely, but...) for the last few days I got worried that maybe something happened to the baby. Plus I got this wicked cold/sinus thing and my appetite is completely dead, and I had to force myself to eat anything for the last two days because of the baby.

I told my husband last night that I was worried we'd go to the scan today and see the baby had passed and he got really ticked off! He said, "why would you say such a terrible thing?" Well, I told it that wasn't obviously waht I wanted to see, I just wanted to tell him about some of my fears.

Then, the other side of me is afraid I'll see twins today....

I know deep in my heart I will just see one baby, with a hearbeat, and everything will be OK. I don't know why I got to do this to myself.

good luck for your scan... it's completely normal to worry, but for most those fears don't come true. Show us a piccy when you get back!

Oh and off topic, but I have really been wanting some loving for the past week and my DH keeps putting me off. Then, I get into my computer this morning to read the news while I eat breakfast and I see he was viewing a porn site on my computer! UGH! I could smack him! He should have used his own computer, and not mine...eeek....I got a feeling he's going to do his sexual freeze out again, though he claims he has no problem having sex when I'm pregnant, he really does, and he doesn't like to admit it, hehe.

That totally happened with my first pregnancy!! I was SO upset that I didn't talk to my husband for the whole day. I already felt all bloated and yucky and then he's looking at other women. Ew.

I am SO excited that you're finally joining us here, purplepoet. I love how many of the 'old guard' are here now - lots of ladies who've been trying a loooong time are finding 2012 a lucky year .

auroara - I have all the same feelings you do about your scan - both worrying about not seeing a HB and about seeing twins. Hopefully we'll both get nothing but good news!

laughinglynxie... With both my boys I had a friend who was due the same day and they where delivered on that day and both mine came 4 days later. I want this one to come 1wk early - on time
