Sorry about your ankle jenny penny, what about swimming or something? Poor you 2lovelyboys, sick bugs are awful especially with more than 1 person at a time :-(
I haven't exercised for about 5 days and not much motivation to get back to it :-( if it was half an hour or 40 mins a day it would be much easier to do and fit in!

Chocolate, i know where you are coming from. After a week off motivation is lacking, DS1 has two weeks off school for Easter coming so my exercise routine will be difficult to stick to. I find it easier to do if i do it at the same time every day (which is straight after boys r dropped off) but knowing it will all change again i am finding it difficult to start again

Yeah I'd find it easier at that time too but can only do that 1 day a week. Or if it was 3 or 4 days a week it's more manageable. I also find it very hard to do more than 1300 calories and if I eat that and exercise I feel so hungry and will loose the last few pounds I have to loose. But if I eat more then I'll probably. End up going over totals in other areas or be adding in a snack or a 3rd meal, so tough! Only 7 weeks ish till my attempt though so got to think of it like that too

Spent most of the day at hospital and turns out I have torn ligaments in my ankle. She said to ice it as much as possible.

Am going to continue using exercise bike very gently as that foot position doesn't seem to hurt my ankle. It's weird, I can walk upstairs ok, but downstairs is agony!!!

Got a bfn today ( 11dpo) knew I wasn't pregnant though, no symptoms whatsoever and just a gut feeling. Decided I will not do jump and dump next month but will stick with every 4 day, month after will go to every 3 days.

Another month on the diet grrrr!! Hoped I would be able to enjoy pigging out at Easter!!

Oh that is double rubbish for bad foot and a negative!! I have very bad pains with my feet from running which is only bad when walking or running etc.

Don't think my body was made for exercising haha!!

Prob should have gone down couch potato route, but just wanted to cover my bases so I don't have any regrets. X

Yeah same here. I'm wondering if it still counts if I were to use the bike but on a low setting so it's an easy 60 mins ;-) Not sure what the concept is of exercise - to lower sugar levels, loose weight or some sort of high intensity to tire the body out

I think it's a bit of everything, sugar levels, weight loss and maternal conditions. I have definitely read several times that is does not need to be extremely intensive exercise but does need to be 60+ mins.

After reading lots of sways it does seem worthwhile, and has been working for lots of women. Will just aim for doing it a month at a time and it won't seem as bleak continuing on with it. If I thought about another 6 months of it I would totally want to stop!!

Sorry to hear about all the injuries and illness ladies. I don't think the weather is helping, in my area anyway. One minute its freezing, the next the sun is out! Think that's a recipe for coughs and colds to break out!

I've been suffering with injuries too. Decided to take some advice from a running expert and have invested in some new running shoes. Can't believe the improvement. Just wearing them around the house literally cured my ailments and I was back on the treadmill after a couple of days. The shoes were expensive but if budgets allow, maybe you ladies could look into it? Especially if your shoes are old or don't feel quite right! I knew absolutely nothing about running before my sway so didn't really realise the difference shoes can make! Not trying to teach anyone to suck eggs here, perhaps you all know this already!!???

So frustrating to put all these weeks into exercise and then be plagued with illness and injuries right around TTC-ing :-(

Rubbish about the BFN Jennypenny, sorry about that. Know what you mean about pigging out!! The Easter chocolate floating about is soooooo tempting. Just our luck for Easter to come early this year!!

I was doing ok today; did 85 minutes of running, ate a very pcos le friendly meal after but then entirely ruined the whole day by eating loads of crap - chocolate, crisps and sweets!!! Way off the diet, probably used my entire weeks limits!!!! I know it's fuelled by af and just finishing two night shifts I'm finding the exercise generally much easier Than the diet, no helpful! On the plus side though, my bmi is down to 20.4!

Go easy with the ankle - have you tried strapping it up before exercising on it? Glad the illness seems to be lifting now.x
