I'm 5 weeks today and I'm sooo tired. I've been in bed by 8:30 every day.

I'm also sad that I've gained 13 pounds on HE diet even though I did my best to eat whole foods and healthy fat plus weight training and some cardio. I'm still in the normal weight for my height and bmi but bigger than I'd like. I'm hoping to only gain 20 pounds this pregnancy and I've kept up the working out even though I'm tired. The sad thing is I got really stressed and nervous because I thought I saw blood in the toilet and I ate half a box of Samoas! [emoji24] who knew I was such a stress eater. Back to healthy eating today!

    Congrats kmom!!!

I feel so tired and lazy aswell. And the nausea doesn't help. I want to feel "normal" again. Don't want to complain though, I love being pregnant but first trimester is really the hardest. Well I'll be soon in my 2nd trimester so hopefully I'll have more energy.

My bump is really big. Can't hide it anymore. I have to wear maternity trousers already. DH is concerned there are twins even though the scan confirmed there's only one baby lol.

Do have any food cravings? Oranges are my new craving. And all fresh fruits. But also I'd love to eat some junkfood lol.

No cravings yet, but man are smells starting to bother me. I feel like I can smell everything, the good and the stinky. I told my 11 year old son that he had very smelly armpits this afternoon when I picked him up...poor kid, but yikes it was horrible.

With 4 kids under 5 and pregnant with twins my guess is you will be exhausted for at least the next 10 years lol!

I really admire mums with kids close together the 3 year age gap was hard enough for me

I'm also sensitive to smells too. I was telling ds2 how stinky his feet were the other day and he went off to the bathroom and sprayed them with air freshener to make it better... although the smell of that was too strong too!

It wouldn't be so bad, except since my oldest two started preschool and pre-K a few months ago everyone's sleep schedule has gotten messed up. We put them down an hour earlier at night and that translates to them waking up 2-3 hours earlier sp I'm not getting as much sleep as I used to and no morning quiet time to get in any cleaning or me time anymore. The pregnancy isn't helping any either. LOL

How far along does everyone like to be when they make it public? I can't decide this time. I've always waited until the first trimester was at its end.... And this time ttc I've been saying I don't want to tell anyone until we knew gender. I really don't want to hear all those "hope it's your girl" comments. I know people mean well but I think it's offensive. Of course I swayed girl and I'd love a girl but I'd love another boy the same... he wouldn't mean any less to me.
Also, this being our 4th.... I know everyone will think we are insane.
But I also suck at keeping these things to myself! Plus on Easter we will be with family and if I am not drinking wine my mom will wonder why. And she's probably the judgiest of all. Ughhh anyway, when do you announce? Sorry if this has already been discussed!

DH doesn't want to tell his parents so there is no date set to announce. It's getting on my nerves. It's looking like he thinks April 1 is a good day though. LOL

We have already told most ppl around here... kinda hard to keep it secret when your co-workers know (preg related restrictions) and aren't quiet about it. "You look like u don't feel good... morning sickness??" But out of towners will have a long wait. They don't get to find out until we surprise my grandma by showing preggo and huge in may. Otherwise someone will spill the beans and ruin the surprise. My Dad is the one exception to that but the surprise was his idea so I know he won't say anything.
