Mocha she is such a little doll!! Just beautiful!

I hate the fact that I have to have my baby early I know he will be jaundice I just hope he is healthy in other ways. Its hard on me knowing he is not going to be like a term baby all alert and feeding well. Dont know why I just be healthy and have a normal 40 week pregnancy and bubs comes when he is ready I feel so bad for him. I am feeling guilty and I know I cant help my situation but I still cant stop all this guilt.
I slept on the couch last night again and d/h slept good so I guess I will just stay on the couch until he catches up on sleep so I dont have to put up with him carrying on all the time about how tired he is. Which is his own fault to begin with because Of his 3 days binge!
I am still itchy and my feet and hands are so hot , my ob suggested me going on steroids for the itch but then said to me she would prefer me not to if I can get through the next couple of weeks I said to her Id rather not take anymore medication anyway!

Thanks, Butterfly. I really do feel great - despite the horrible labour, it's been the easiest post delivery recovery I've had. I had only one small microtear with her, so only one tiny stitch. It doesn't even hurt when I pee! I also have a pretty good energy level all things considered - I'm enjoying every moment with Sadie.

Gosh Mocha, I hurt my back and had to go to the ER with my last pregnancy..horrible back pain so I can only imagine what back labor felt like! I'm SO glad you got the epidural! I really would have it no other way. We really don't have to prove anything to anyone when it comes to birthing our babies. I'm glad that helped you so much! I didn't know you were in pain for so many hours though, that sucks but wow, just look at that little face! I'm SO SO Happy for you and Aurora both enjoying your little Princesses!
Mine however doesn't move a lot that I can feel and it's frustrating.. it's like doppler all the time for my peace of mind lol! I put the doppler on her when I woke up and she was kicking up a storm and had a loud strong heartbeat!
I have my anatomy/20 wk scan on Monday and I will get more pics from it!

Ds3 was posterior too and I managed that back labour medication free. I was proud of myself for doing that, but I wonder if it was easier doing it not knowing what I was going into. This time, once the back labour fully started I remembered exactly what it had been like, and I knew I wasn't capable of facing it in my weakened state. I have no regrets - the end of my last labour was very peaceful, and the pushing stage was a breeze. The easy recovery is just icing on the cake.

I think that's great you were able to do that! I've been watching live birth videos on youtube lately and I ran into some "unassisted birth" ones...HOLY crap.... I just can't believe what I'm seeing.. those are some gutsy strong women..perhaps a bit stupid though incase something went wrong what would they do? Like a breeched babe or whatever, I've never really watched a breeched baby come out..until now on youtube. I've been looking into everything, preparing for anything that could happen because we just never know!
I've had my eyes opened to c sections.. I never knew how complicated they are.. there's so much in this complicated world of conceiving, carrying, and birthing our babies.

Sadie is SO cute! My SIL has a Sadiey too ( she has to have the Y on the end) and she calls her "Sadiey Sadiey, Princess Lady!"

Pinkin, though DD was only 2 weeks early, I was surprised by how much she wanted to sleep! She's just now getting more alert, but was sleeping beauty the first two weeks of her life, plus, she didn't have feeding issues per se, but is still awkward on the bottle and gags very easily, so need to keep an eye on her when she eats. I think your baby boy will be just fine, but I understand your worries about a little early.

Mocha, Sadie is so beautiful, and I love her cheeks, and someone said it on your FB, but I'm amazed by how wise she really looks in the eyes....she seems so peaceful too! Glad you're enjoying every minute....I still haven't quite "gotten" that DD is really my daughter--I still just love and take care of her as a baby, I don't see gender much. When I think about it how this is my daughter at long last, it's almost too much of an emotion to comprehend right now!

I can happily say though that I was worried once she was born that I'd see the love I had for my boys at birth as being not as "happy" as it is for a daughter, and while I love her, I loved my sons too the minute I met them, and I have a newer, deeper appreciation for the men in my life Love my boys and how gentle they are with their sister!
