Sumbal I think you said you're in Pakistan? Just curious if you're finding out gender and is it allowed (from a cultural/traditional perspective) as I have no idea 😮 Do they offer the NIPT? I hope I've phrased my question in a non offensive way as I am genuinely interested 😊

Yeah right Pbn. But things are not as complicated as seen
I got know about my daughter by ultrasound in 22 Week scan. But I do not have idea about NIPT. I will ask my doctor for sure.
It's good to know each other. nothing is offensive. I would love to share my experiences here with you guys FX

I just googled and found NIPT is available here but quite expensive.

Yeah it's expensive here in Australia too. Not sure if I'd get a pensioners discount 😂😂😂 in all seriousness though I'm going to give it a miss. We do a blood test for downs at 10 weeks then those results are combined with the 12 week scan results. I'm not finding out gender so its not worth it money wise (the nipt). Our private health and my ob and ultrasounds costs enough as it is!!!

I'm skipping NIPT too. we did talk about having it but decided the blood test/scan will be enough for us.

Cool. I wanted Boy as my first child but I got disappointed on my scan with DD. This time I am also planning to just remain on OWT and predictions of scans here on forum. But I will not find gender officially.
