Thanks so much, I truly appreciate people reaching out. Yes, I found out 2-3 weeks ago that I had a failed sway. I’m expecting my third boy. I feel like I was doing okay with it at first but the more people I tell the more comments I hear and it gets overwhelming.
I lurked on your due date group a bit prior to this one being formed. Maybe I’ll hop back on over there sometimes. [emoji4] Even if I don’t comment much it’s comforting to read when others are going through the same thing (not that I wish it on anyone of course).

So sorry to hear that you’re going through this as well but thanks so much for reaching out. I tried to do shettles with my second being as I didn’t know about any other sway type at that point. So I feel a bit that I’ve failed twice as well.
I think my GD has increased recently simply because I’m telling more people and therefore I’m hearing all of the horrible comments that people say that they don’t realize are hurtful.
I also found myself thinking about adoption today. Wishing that I’d thought more seriously about that option when I had the chance. No way to change that decision now. Adoption is also not an option for us, this is our last child.

I told someone who asked boy or girl "we are waiting" and felt much bettet about the privacy of that. She didn't know I meant waiting to tell people rather than waiting to know, and I avoided a possible unwanted comment. I might wait to tell family too... haven't decided yet.

I'm really nervous. My bloodwork from14 dpo came back and they messed up. All they wrote was positive for hcg. They didn't do the numbers. And progesterone is very low at 12.7. I told the OB, who is new as my doc, that it is low and I have history of Mc. But without the number of hcg shes not taking my word for how far along I am. I know exactly. So next week i need to redo the test and I'm really nervous about the number. Anyone know about progesterone numbers and if waiting is an issue? She wants me to wait until I'm 7 or 8 weeks to come in.

I just finished taking progesterone. My doc had me on 200mg. I started taking it around 5 weeks because my progesterone had went from 19 to 15. I'm just glad I went in to get some more blood work. If you are feeling nervous I would call the doctor and insist that they do your blood work again. I believe that doctors sometimes forget that they work for us. I didn't have an issue with my doctor's office. I called and asked for more blood work and they were more than happy to do it. I really do hope you get some resolution.

Thank you. I'm going to go in Monday and get tested again. I just know not everyone does progesterone because they feel like if it will MC, there is no stopping it and progesterone just delays the inevitable. I'll just ask for the test.

So I have decided not to wait until my anatomy scan to find out the gender I'm going to find out at my next appointment on the 22nd (I'll be 16 weeks). I just didn't want to wait any longer that way I can go ahead and come to terms with it if this is my 4th son. I have been counting days lol so just 10 days left!!!

Anyone have an affordable at-home doppler they recommend?

Yep, I totally get the logic of waiting to tell gender. We waited around a week and a half before we told anyone. It helped me come to terms with it a bit before telling and then getting the onslaught of comments. Obviously even with a bit of time for me to process it wasn’t fool proof and I’m still dealing with my GD.
