Tfahn I see your swaying boy too! I couldn't see that on my phone. I've been did 0-3, 0-2, 0-1, and 0 day the past couple months to no avail. I really don't know what else to do...
My dr prescribed clomid to me after 4 cycles because I had difficulty conceiving my second (we never found out what the problem was because all of our testing came back normal) and I'm almost 34 and my husband is 44. We are in a bit of a time crunch I guess you could say. I don't know if it helps with a short lp. How long is yours? Mine is only 11 days and I feel like that isn't enough.

Thanks for the congrats ladies lol, weird to write that but happy too!
Quinn I am sorry you are in such a time crunch, I can kind of empathise a little as we are trying this month and then waiting til next year possibly February before trying again so feel my all my hard work on LE will be gone to waste. Facing facts there's no way I can continue on LE for much longer, it's been 26 weeks tomorrow!! And it can't be good for my overall healthiest on this diet much longer.
Spoke to my GP today. He went through my progesterone blood results with me and says it "could be anyone's guess" whether I am Oing or not. My blood work was 26.6 which he said is borderline, they like them to be at least 30 for day 21. He has me in to see a female doctor next Thursday on CD8 which is useless for this cycle. It made me feel a little hopeless.
DH wants to try every three days this cycle. It's our third cycle but like I said taking a break after this cycle. I don't know what to do, opinions hugely appreciated. Should I maybe ask Atomics advice?2012

Hopper I don't know about girl sways but my last dd was many attempts at O time. I was living a mostly LE life though so I'm not sure which is more important. Atomic can probably help better than I can.

Hopper, I'd definitely ask Atomic what to do. She usually suggests other things to help with ovulation and increase chances of pregnancy before giving the okay for more attempts. I really believe the advice she gave me several weeks ago is what helped my body to start ovulating again.

Hello all
I'm trying to catch up on everything after having a short break (only 4 days I think but things happen so fast here!).
I had my specialist appointment today and the Dr gave me the option of trying metformin or clomid. I asked if it was too late this cycle (cd6) and he said 1 day wouldn't make much difference with my cycles and they could start if I needed to. I decided to go with trying the metfomin to see if it helps shorten my cycles but I am going to take the my clomid I got from a friend (I obviously didn't tell him about that part). He also said that metformin can help with women with PCOS who have had miscarriages so wants me to keep taking it for the first trimester when I get pregnant.
I'm happy to wait until January to consider a fully monitored clomid cycle partly because it is expensive doing the monitoring and also I don't want to go to all that effort to conceive a September baby, if it happens naturally that is fine but I would rather another month (both boys are born in September).
He is pretty sure I have PCOS as I have several of the main indicators like irregular cycles, polycystic ovaries and acne. He wasn't too concerned about the mid-cycles bleeding/spotting as he said it was just hormonal.
So now I am taking the clomid I hope to ovulate around day 19. I have taken clomid twice before and ovulation was day 18/19 each time. I also got pregnant each time, first time was DS1 and second time was a blighted ovum.
If I ovulate when expected I will be testing around November 25

Here is my chart overlay for my current cycle (pink/purple line) and my BFP cycle in July/August (green line). I have to admit that I am super excited to see how well they are lining up. It's actually kind of freaking me out! I didn't know they could/would do that?! Has anyone else had that happen before? I guess I kind of thought they might be similar, but it never occurred to me how similar.

My pregnancy charts don't have similar temps but I have noticed they tend to follow the same pattern of being triphasic with a dip in temp around the time of implantation.
Your chart is looking good Momamia!'12

I will be hopefully joining this group as I am on cd13 today. We have been ttc for over a year and finally tried clomid last month, which the 50mg did not work. I took 100mg on cd4-8 this month and fx that it will work. I am beginning to get really down and discouraged and don't want to be bummed out over the holidays. I can't help but worry that I am too old (I just turned 37) and my body is failing me.
