I would worry about thyroid except that I've had it tested a few times in the last year and it was normal. Just curious if anyone else has abnormal temps??? I'm hoping it's more normal than the book makes it sound

    Thanks!
This is about what mine are and i do have hypothryoidism. however, it is treated and has been treated with meds for years now, and its still this temp...

I wouldn't read too much into the temps, I really think there are dozens of things that might affect your temps overall.

    What an interesting post!!
I have been charting for the last three cycles, lets name them 1, 2 and 3. In cycle 1 my pre o temps were in the high 96 and post o temp were in the high 97 and I had wet cm in the o time. In cycle 2 my re o temps were in the low 96, majorly 96.2 and my post o temp were around 97 mid mostly 97.5, around the o time I had ewcm and loads of it. This cycle 3 I 'm again having temps like cycle 1 my pre o temps in the high 96 , around 96.9 and I'm having wet cm around the ovulation time. so does that mean I should skip ttc this month as high pro = girls, as I am ttcing boy and wait for the next month?

I would NEVER have anyone skip a month TTC on the basis of temps. The theories are very sketchy with little scientific support whatsoever and there are dozens of things that affect temps. We have had people with very low progesterone that are girl moms and high prog. who have all boys, and plenty of people who got opposites regardless of what their temps said.

Yes, that chart is pretty spiky but that doesn't mean you won't O eventually. Your body is just taking a little time to figure it out, probably.

I have heard that ladies with PCOS have lower pre-O temps, not sure if it's true.
