Anything that lowers testosterone, sways pink. You can actually lower your testosterone two ways - one is by being SOO stressed that your body gets run down and kinda gives up and stops making as much testosterone (this is what worked for me - I don't recommend it LOL), and the other is by doing away with stress as much as you possibly can. (this is what will be more effective for most people because it took months of intense, unpleasantness for my T to go down.) Eliminating stress is easier and more reliable for pink swayers.
Not to rain on anyone's parade but I do think "happy" stressors can raise T just as much as any can. We can't eliminate all forms of stress of course.

Auroara, if he can figure out a way to get a coin to come up with heads 140-160 times for every 100 tails (or even just 105 times for every 100 tails) then I'd be right there with him! Science cannot explain why so many more boys are conceived/born because men make 50-50 X and Y sperm. I didn't believe swaying was real when I started to look into it either but there's just no way that 50-50 X and Y sperm can yield anything other than 50-50 boy and girl conceptions/births, unless swaying is real.

Sorry guys, didn't mean to be MIA - had a super busy weekend and before that, the forums were down, so I haven't really had a chance to post.
Ribbons - I hope you enjoyed your massage! Sounds heavenly.I will definitely be scheduling one in our attempt month.
Auroara - I know what you mean! This is how crazy I am - I've already thought about my sway for #4, and I'm not even ready to sway for #3 yet! LOL!
Atomic - when you said in a previous post that even "happy" stressors can raise T levels, what did you mean by that? Are you talking about the whole conquering a difficult task/succeeding at a certain task thing? I have to admit that the testosterone thing is what confuses me and worries me the most about swaying.2008

Me too sweetpea! I think I have come to grips with the fact that I honestly, truly have reduced my stress and obsession as far as it will possibly go. I am not going to worry, not going to stress about it any more! Yes I think about swaying quite a bit, but the moment I start worrying about how much I am thinking about it, it completely changes my "state of mind" and makes me feel more stressed, so complicated!! So I try to put it out of mind as much as possible, but when it creeps back in, I don't fight it. I hope this is enough - we are right on top of O and already put in a few attempts so no going back now

I think you're doing a fantastic job with your sway, Ribbons! I wouldn't worry or stress about it at all (and it sounds like you're not, so that's good!). YAY for putting in a few attempts already! How exciting!! Have you O'd yet, or where are you in your cycle?

Yes, if you win at a fun game or you sew a quilt or you kick back and watch your favorite sporting team win, it's just as "bad" (and possibly WORSE) for T levels than if you endure something terrible and come out on the other side. So if you view food diaries as "fun", that's not necessarily a good thing, KWIM?? If you've done it for years and it's second nature, that's one thing - but the people who think, "well, I like doing food diaries, I like charting, I think swaying is really going to be a FUN PROJECT" - that's not necessarily a good thing for T levels.
Testosterone is a tough concept for people to grasp (both pink and blue swayers) but the good news is, you don't HAVE to. Just by virtue of doing diet, weight loss, and some of the supps, you are doing a LOT towards lowering those levels anyway.
We're getting such good results just thru LE Diet that I am starting to think the T levels may be less of an issue on here than on IG, where some of the aspects of their diet may actually have been raising T. It was much more on IG than on this site, where I saw the people who did the "everything including the kitchen sink" sways and got opposites. So please don't overthink or worry too much about this - we may have overcome the entire ball-o-wax to some extent just by doing away with the massive dairy intake and cutting out the chicken/eggs.!!! Lower is lower - it may well be that for some of us, the lowest our T can go is STILL higher than 95% of other women out there walking around on the face of the planet, and for some women, the highest their T can go is still lower than 95% of other women, but as long as your T is going down you're more likely to conceive a girl, and as long as it's going up, you're more likely to conceive a boy - it's not your T levels in comparison to anyone else's, it's your T levels in comparison to what yours were doing previously that matters.

Thank you, Atomic! Both of those replies make me feel a lot better about T levels. I guess I just have in my mind this worry that even if I do everything pretty well (diet, supps, etc), it won't matter how well I do it bc T levels could potentially mess up the whole thing, kwim?

Well, just keep in mind that you can't control your T levels - they're sort of part and parcel of who you are, and it never pays to worry over things you can't control anyway. Just do the doable and let the rest go becasue the things that are uncontrollable, are by definition out of your control LOL!!!!
