Interesting info for thought...doing research I came across an analysis that fertility friend website did of 93,000 recent charts from ladies who use their website/app. It found that for ladies that turned out to be pregnant, the average first positive pregnancy test wasn't until 13.6 DPO. 17% of pregnant woman got a false negative before their true positive because they started testing too early. The average time between the expected period and the first positive test was only a half a day before AF should have arrived.
I think this convinced me that I am going to just wait for AF to come or to be late. I tested a few days earlier than AF last month and the negatives are too hard to handle especially when you tell yourself that maybe it is just too early and it still might be positive. I will let AF be my test this month.Pregnant with baby GIRL #2, due August 2019

GirlieCat, sometimes I find that easier. It seems like every so often, I just have to poas. So, I typically do it really early... like 6dpo, so I know it is most likely to be bfn and then it gives me the strength to wait longer.

I think I just got a positive OPK.
I'm actually not sure at all that it's a positive OPK, because it's my first time using OPKs. It's a test from Dollarama in Canada, and the test line is almost as dark as the control line. Is this good enough?
I'm going to test again in a couple of hours to see if the line got darker, and if it did, maybe we'll go ahead and have our attempt tonight.
Honestly, at this point, I barely care what kind of baby we have! I just want to get pregnant so I can start eating good, nourishing food again.
Wishing everyone lots of luck.

Serenity, do you have a pic you can post? The two lines are typically suppose to be the same darkness but it may get darker on your next test because almost as dark means you are close for sure.
