Any July/August/Sept 2014 Swayers?

That's a bummer CherryBlossom. I am hoping for a bfp this month because we are out the next month too. I'm definitely taking a break from the LE diet and will enjoy some meat or something if we get a BFN.

Bluebonnet, I'm here for the same reason, gotta keep my head in the game or I'll fall off the wagon right onto a cheeseburger, or a steak, or smoked ribs, or some bacon.... or all of the above. =)

Kitkat, I'm confused, how does the opk test work as an hpt? Wouldn't it need to be totally positive opk (darker than the test line) and not just a faint line? Or does it just function exactly like a home pregnancy test if it is at the end of your cycle? I thought there was a little LH in your system throughout your whole cycle? I hope the digital confirms a BFP!!!

That cracked me up blue bonnet.....i love cheeseburgers!!
So don't want to get my hopes up, but peed on a cheapy opk and got two lines!!! It was pretty faint ....could it really be??? I'm worried it just an evap line. Should I go digital or wait till 10dpo tomorrow???

Just sticking my head in to say OMG how exciting kitkat!!! My first test was super duper ridiculously faint and I waited two days and voila - so pregnant! lol xxx I hope this is it! Yay! xx

I think you are right Christi, I just foolishly saw that other ladies had done this and some got BFPs and others did not.....i think its probably just like you said its leftover LH and would need to be alot darker!!
feeling silly for torturing myself yet again!

Oh I didn't read it was an opk. You could definitely still be pregnant I would hold it for as long as possible and then test. Do you have any cheapie pregnancy tests? They are normally really sensitive

Thanks I am on cycle 2 and on cd4 . I hope that you see a bfp this cycle! I feel like I have been on this site forever obsessing and I know it's not good for a girl sway. My last cycle was wacky so I don't know if I should count it as cycle 1 since I was just getting of bcp. Oh well.

I too have been dipping in and out as I get way to swaycessive....if I get BFN this cycle I will probably take a few weeks break and come back in 2WW its my coping strategy !!
What cycle day are you on?
9 dpo for me and I should know today or tomorrow if im out (I spot 2-3 days before I get AF ) and I have a LP of 11-12 days. I'm not feeling 'pregnancy' so prepping myself for a BFN!! Xxxx

Oh no I'm sorry to hear that. I find it helpful to take a break from the diet on the weekends, it's the only way I can keep my sanity, I just don't go overboard.

Cherry - I'm so sorry! Definitely enjoy a cheat day (or week), especially if you aren't even trying next month.

I understand what you ladies mean about needing to step away from GD for awhile so you don't get swaycessive. I took a couple weeks off before our first attempt and I think it helps. Lately I've been not caring at all about TTC, having a girl, or literally anything. I'm usually super motivated so I guess maybe the LE diet is affecting me? Anyways I've actually been on here more lately just to keep my head in the game so I don't quit and go stuff my face with a cheeseburger.

Kitkat if you all have first response tests then you should try one of those. I get light positive opks every day the only dark ones I got was a few days before ovulation. Still FX it's you bfp!

So ladies are you all planning on finding out the sex of the baby (when you conceive) as soon as possible or is anyone wanting to go team green?

Kitkat definitely still get an FRER. I've heard OPKs work as HPTs if you are more than a couple days late for AF, and the line would have to be pretty dark. Definitely keep us updated

I'm on CD34 and I finally got a temperature rise this morning. Thank goodness- I was getting tired of waiting. After waiting just to O, I'm hoping the TWW won't be so bad (afterall, I know it's only two weeks and there is an end in sight! Just hoping it's the end I envision haha). I am only, potentially, 1DPO... and I already wanna pee on a stick! Haha I won't of course because that would be silly. Going to try to hold out until at least 10DPO.

I do have an appointment with my midwife on Wednesday (6DPO) and I know she'll ask if there's a chance I could be pregnant because she always asks AND she knows I'm TTC (I had a preconception meeting with her to talk about my concerns and do bloodwork and stuff). Has anyone ever been to their lady doctor for an annual at a time they could be pregnant? Do you think she'll draw blood/collect urine? I know implantation isn't until 6-12DPO, so I don't think it would show up that early if I were pregnant, would it? I would hate to find out I'm pregnant just because I happened to have an annual exam around that time... I'd much rather find out at home on my own instead of in a birth center or on the phone. Sorry for all my questions- first timer

Really really really hoping for a BFP... but aren't we all?
