Except that it hasn't. ok, so TMI time, lol:
It started Thursday morning- light brown, stopped by noon, nothing all day, went for bloods.
Friday- nothing, HCG levels good for 9 weeks, some streaks of dark brown on undies.
Saturday- medium brown spotting on TP. I started to try to see if it was higher up in the vagina, and then I was too harsh with TP and started seeing fresh red blood.
Freaked out, saw with a mirror- fresh blood from outside, at least I think. Stopped quickly.
Sunday morning- still some coffee/medium color.
It is all very very light in flow, and some times only shows up when patting after urinating, and occasionally true spots on panty liner. I took a shower, because I saw some brownish discharge at base of vagina and thought light rinsing would at least help release that.
Anyway, no cramping, except for one last night and generally feel OK.
BUT, I am a spotty person- and used to spot a lot before periods, but conceived on first cycle. I really really think it's down to sensitivity to hormonal changes and around 9 weeks, the placenta takes over from ovaries and maybe reflects this dip.
I had light bleeding (lighter than this) with DD1, but it was around 6 weeks. I also had some bleeding around 7- lasted one day, and some at implantation.
Whew.

I'll ask about PP. I had a SCH with DD1. I haven't met my OB, but he comes famously recommended, so I am sure he will be helpful. He will probably send me for a scan earlier this week, though I was due for one on Friday.

I hope everything is ok STS! I had spotting (a lot and bright red) one morning with my first, I thought for sure I was having a miscarriage but everything was ok. With this one, I spotting lightly for a few days around week 9-10 but everything is fine. I think sometimes it has to do with the growth of the uterus? Hope all looks well, thinking about you.
Ladies...what were your experiences for those of you that had mild MS? I am starting to wonder if I didn't have a slight case. It is hard tell b/c the 7 months before we conceived I was on a high dose BC pill that gave me a lot of trouble and I always felt pregnant...more so than I did when I was pregnant with my boys lol. I always pictured MS like running to the bathroom throwing your guts out, and nausea like stomach flu feeling...bad hurting stomach, excess saliva, can't eat etc. I've just had a more-than-usual gag reflex. If I brush my teeth too far back or brush my tongue I gag or dry heave. Also if I get too hungry I almost gag, and my shirts have felt like they are choking me. Once I was talking to my son and had to stop for a second because my throat felt funny. My stomach itself hasn't felt too bad...sometimes food sits funny or nothing sounds good but nothing like the stomach flu. It's not all the time and seems to be in spurts - almost seems related to when I'm more congested.
Anyways, just curious! My feeble attempt to hope this pregnancy is different and maybe a girl......DS12009

I guess it really depends on what your other pregnancies felt like. If you didn't have it at all with the boys, it's certainly a good sign! My MS has always been VERY mild, with short duration (3-4 weeks), mid-afternoon. I have not vomited at all with my second and third, just felt sick but never to the point of running to the toilet. With my first boy I felt pretty sick in the beginning but being the first I think it was my body getting used to the hormones that it had never experienced before, it was pretty severe with daily vomiting but it didn't last long. With this little girl I felt pretty sick, not vomiting all the time but MS lasts longer, I am now 17 weeks and am still getting MS about twice a week, and when it comes I have to run because it's pretty bad, most of the time I will not vomit, but it feel awful. This has been my worst that's for sure. I do hope your MS is a good sign for you.
