Niva, thankfully my husband is very understanding, but I still felt so silly afterwards.

Emily, I just realised I didn't respond to your question about the nub shot. I am thinking of telling the person doing the scan that my friends love having a guess at the gender, so would it be possible to get a full length body shot from the side. I think it is best from the right, but I am thinking that might overcomplicate things.

Ooh good tip thanks. I still don't have a date for mine. The midwife told me that ob will make an app for a scan but I don't se him /her till June 6 and I am almost in week 8 now. There better be an appointment available then otherwise I am going to break in and do it myself!

The weather appears to be rubbish the world over at the moment! We had hail a few days ago.???!!!

Thank-you to Gecon.....I think that my next scan is the 18-20 week one, unless DH feels sorry for me and wants to travel 8-9 hours to a private clinic to find out gender!! We found out that it might be difficult to know if baby ladybug is he or she due to the restrictions placed on the medical u/s techs.
How are you feeling???

Emily....I am going to be pushing for my 18-20 week u/s at my 12 week visit with my MD...it takes a month normally to get an u/s around here! And we had hail last week...insane weather world wide!!!

Count me in on the ugly weather phenomenon. We were cowering inside all day yesterday with thunderstorms and a tornado watch! Luckily it cooled down after the T-storm passed and today is nice again.

I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure out if my sense of smell is acute again. It seems like it is -- but maybe only because I'm looking for it!
