I'm a little nervous about the diet drinks. I know they are probably safe in small amounts like atomic suggests. But I don't think they are necessary. I'm trying to do my sway eating natural/organic things. And honestly I need to eat a little bit more calories so if I want pop, I'm drinking a small Pepsi made with real sugar for empty calories.

Let's record what we're eating to help each other
Dana- don't focus on the time of day part! For instance don't think you have to wait until 11:30 to eat for the first time of the day. It is having an overnight fast of 16 hours that matters. So I always had dinner with my family between 5:30-6:30pm, because that time is important to our family. So I counted 16 hours after 6:30pm, which worked out to be 9:30am-10:30am without eating a thing! Some mornings I would have coffee with a splash of creamer, upon waking up, and others I didn't if I was super busy. Then I would have lunch with my boys at 12:30pm. Then I had another long fast between lunch and dinner- 6 hours until we ate dinner at 6:30pm. I liked I had an overnight fast of 16 hours AND a midday fast of 6 hours!! My first meal was always around 200-300 cals, lunch was slightly more at 500 cals, and dinner was the largest at 800-900 cals. I was always satisfied and having the largest meal at the end of the day is better for your body- we are more efficient with insulin production and digestion at dinner time. I exercised after lunch with my boys, since they liked ending up at the park. DS2 always fell asleep on the run back home., and we walk to a park after dinner as a family- bonus exercise that is fun!
If you look up my sway, I posted what I ate usually.
Please don't kill yourself focusing on trying to make it to a certain time, use the formula- 16 hour fast after you last meal is when you can eat for the first time. I have to eat three meals for my metabolism to continue to lose weight, but everyone is different. I liked gradually increasing my meal size, since after swaying a while my stomach shrunk!
All of your ladies are doing FAB!

I never drank them, because I hate putting artificial junk in my body, yuck! The LE diet will naturally lower your pH without needing to drink the diet drinks. I always had either a regular soda with sugar or my beloved ice cream for empty calories!!!

Oops sorry Dana I should have pointed out that is what worked for me ( 2 meals and eating about 11.30am and 6pm). I also did eat breakfast every now and then if I felt I really needed it!! I guess like the others said its figuring out what works for you, how you can adapt LE to your lifestyle Xx

I also found for me when starting LE I did have to cut out breakfast completely, if I skipped one day and not the next I got really dizzy and same thing if I ate a ' reduced' breakfast like fruit salad. Again just what worked for me. I have a 5 week old newborn so writing everything half asleep!!

Thanks Kitkat and so happy to read you got your little girl, congrats!! I just had dinner at 17:30 and am satisfied now. Had chinese food. Didn't plan on it but was having dinner at my parents house. It was vegetarian though, as I've been a vegetarian for years now. Just recently started eating a bit of meat and fish again, but cut that out again as it will surely help my sway. I don't mind the diet coke, I used to drink it a lot. Now I usually just drink water, but like to mix that up sometimes with something sugary, so I guess the light version is better for me now. I do get a lot sleepier earlier at night. I usually go to bed at midnight, but now at 22:00 I'm nodding off on the couch lol. Which is quit enice actually, as the kids wake me up very early sometimes. I did my cardio walking to the playground on the other side of our village and chasing after the kids as they were on their bikes. Didn't do the exact 60+ minute sin one long go, but since tcc is still months away I will really put more effort into it when I'm closer to ttc.

Dreaming - anything high in nutrients is maybe blue but seriously, a bit of orange cheese won't hurt. That being said I switched to light cheese and eat very occasionally, and then I've taken to grilled cheese made with the Kraft cheese slices that aren't even real cheese.
Atomic says it over and over that there is no magic foods; so Remember that.
I basically ditched the stuff that was a typical HE diet - the cereals, the milk too (although who knows...) heck I've ditched most real dairy. I've ditched red meat (but transitioned to this). I DO have chicken or fish occasionally but then I'm old and the last thing I want is to stop ovulating and I have a hard time balancing protein through the week (too low now).
Lastly I feel like I've really gotten used to the diet, and the little splurges don't feel so guilt laden compared to my previous diet! If that makes sense.
