Pbn this is exactly what I'm afraid the dr will say. I will more than likely wait to say anything until I go back on the 9th but I really think that this cramping will pass like always I don't feel contractions though. And I'm sure I know what is causing this and it's not the little escapers it's the whole lot [emoji52] and it will not happen again. I'm just curious and this may be a stupid question but if/once your cervix softens/opens can it go back? And it's still high. When your in labor is it low?

Ash I don't know sorry [emoji853] I think you really are best off asking your dr. From the little I've read its more about how long/short cervix is on the inside as to how soft cervix feels on the outside. If he thinks it necessary I'm sure he'll send you for a scan for measuring before he goes ahead with a diagnosis and treatment plan as such.

Ash i remember u telling you live some distance away from the hospital. So here is what i think but rest is up to you. If this is infact early labor causing cervical dilation you would want to be checked out b4 full blown labor catches u off guard or ur water breaks or something. Plus you already have a history of early onset labor so better be prepared it wont hurt. U can always chose not to follow all of the docs recommendations but as a physician i would still encourage you to follow the docs orders [emoji4]

Ash - Sounds scary. I agree with Pbn and bluebooties to speak to the doc and get checked out. It may be nothing to worry about but will give you peace of mind. You can tell dh after speaking to the doc.

Bluebooties - I couldn't even imagine the thoughts that must be going through your mind. I'm praying for you and baby. I hope Friday comes quickly.
Sky - I only get 6 weeks of leave. So just barely enough to heal and come back. I'm glad your move is done and hopefully unpacking doesn't take forever like mine usually does.
Xx - I hope she comes soon for you, I know how overdue feels and it stinks just waiting and waiting! I always hated the "You're still pregnant??!!" comments. My 2nd never engaged and I was induced and shes fine.

I feel much better this am the cramping has passed. Dh is no longer allowed to do that anymore. And if it happens again on its own I'll for sure call but for now I'll just mention it next visit.
Max when is your next visit? Coming up isn't it?
