Well done OoTB! What are cocopops? Here they're a chocolate flavoured rice cereal and I can't imagine you'd want to eat houmous with them, so I'm guessing you mean something different?!

I can imagine veggie diets are often high in protein - I was astounded by how much protein was in some of the veggie burgers and sausages when I was looking for something for a BBQ. There was 18g I think in one particular sausage!

LOL...I know...They sound like the cocolate cereal. They're these things I found a few days ago at a store near by. They're light and fluffy w/only 16 cals each and they actually taste good! They're made w/wheat, rice and corn flour. They are now my 1 yr old's favorite food and he's screaming for one right now!

Very high! Last summer, I cut out all the processed veggie stuff and was still eating about 75 g of protein (or more!). It was mostly from legumes, beans, quinoa and nuts but it really adds up.

OOTB- Phew! I thought you were seriously eating chocolate cereal with hummus Where's the barfing smiley? LOL! I thought to myself, "If this is how you get a girl...I've changed my mind!".
And yes we can do this....when it comes to skipping breakfast!! I can't believe I made it all the way to 10:45 this morning without food! Yippee!

So here's my meals so far...
    1st meal(10:45am)-
Tea with cream and sugar, 1.5 pieces of WW toast with strawberry jam
small snack(I know we shouldn't but I really need to wean myself off of the snacks slowly)
1/2 an apple and a VERY thin slice of cheddar
    2nd meal
1 cup of rotini pasta, 1/2 can of low sodium tuna, 1 tbsp of mayo, 2 sliced celery sticks(all mixed together) with some pepper and curry powder for taste
    2nd snack
Ummmmm...this is slightly embarrassing....I stole a jar of my kids pureed organic apples and apricots babyfood......HAHAHAHA! I was desperate!!! I needed something without much protein, sodium and fat The sad thing is, it was so yummy I'm going to be picking them up for me now....

So far without dinner my totals are as follows:
    Cals- 852
    Protein-31.6
    Fat-19
    Sodium- 660

Not so bad hey??!!! I'm really proud of myself so far

You guys are so good, I am so jealous! I was alittle bad on Saturday, I had three bites of mac and cheese and a red velvet capcake! We were at a wedding at it was too much to resist! I am back on track today though.
    Breakfast nothing
Lunch: strawberries and 2 cups of air popped popcorn no salt of butter added
Dinner: I plan on pasta and parm. I was doing green beans but I think I will start cutting that out since I am two and half weeks away from attempt.

Ok, I've eaten all my meals today and I'm sitting at 750 calories. What should I eat to bring that number up? I was eyeing a full fat/full sugar chocolate covered ice cream bar in my freezer (and even started a thread about it), but after finding out that chocolate is linked with high testosterone, I think I'd better not. I'm out of frozen yogurt, and it has hardly any calories in it anyway. Should I go out and buy some regular vanilla ice cream? I've already had some cookies, and I'm planning to eat some fruit for my snack later, but that's not going to be enough to get me even close to my 1200 minimum. I thought I ate a pretty good lunch and supper (a sandwich and vegetarian quesadillas), so why are my calories so low??

I went grocery shopping and managed to find enough treats to bring me up to a reasonable calorie count for the day. here's what I had:

    Breakfast: coffee
Lunch: goat cheese and cucumber sandwich on toasted WW bread
Snack: popsicle (it was a scorcher here and my kids were having one so I joined them)
Supper: Vegetarian Quesadillas. I sauteed red pepper with some cumin and chili powder, then put it and a bit of shredded low fat mozzarella sandwiched between no sodium corn tortillas, then grilled them on the BBQ to make them nice and crispy (there was no way I was turning on the oven in this heat). I spread 1 tbsp of fresh salsa and plain yogurt on top of each one (I had two). It was yummy, but too low in calories, apparently. Peek Freans Lifestyle cookies for dessert
Snack (Actually, tonight I would call this meal #3 since I was only at 750 calories at this point): WW Carrot Cake (I'm so glad I finally found those Weight Watchers cakes some of you have been talking about!), Yoplait strawberry dessert yogurt, grapes, Sour Patch Kids

    Protein: 34.7
    Sodium: 974

Phew! Made it through the day!!

I finished off the day with 2 cups of romaine, a few small pieces of tomato, some spring onions and cuc's, a little bit of plain chicken(2oz) sprinkled on top with some balsamic.
And now for my tea Yippee
    Daily intake:

    Calories- 1,314
Protein- 51( I know it's high) Tomorrow will be better.
    Sodium- 747
    Fat- 34.3

It's truly an eye opener when you look at how much you are used to eating in comparison to now....I'm seriously hungry right now...off to make my tea before I start gnawing on my arm.....

And just so I can be good with tracking weight loss.....I am officially 189lbs OMG. Sigh~ gotta start somewhere, I guess...

Ok so what are our daily limits again???

Calories are dependent on how much weight you need to sustain, correct?....so I have a lot to lose which would put me in the 1200-1300 calorie range.
    Sodium is anywhere from 700-1000?
    Fat is- ???
And Protein around 40, correct?...I just read the girl, low everything diet thread and AS posted something about being ok with under 50gr of protein. This will be the absolute hardest for me....I love my protein! And it's in everything!!!
Thanks Girls...my endless fountains of knowledge!!! xox

    More questions.... Sorry

I'm taking vitex and 1mg of folic acid right now....I want to start on my cal/mag tonight before bed but exactly how much should I be taking? Just the recommended daily dose? Should hubs take it? He's taking cranberry and licorice root(2w on/2w off) but he's ok with whatever I give him

What else are you guys taking??
    Thank you!!!
