I am so extremely sorry to hear. I have had previous MC at 12w, 9w, and 7w and I know what you are going through right now. Never fear I have gone on to have 2 pregnancies since the 3 consecutive mc/s. The best way that I helped myself is that I was told by a physic medium that my son wasn't ready to come yet. And know that your next baby will be this one that you lost. Hugs to you. xo

Yes definitely providing the technician has good equipment and really great knowledge. I believe its possible even as early as 12.5 weeks from the amounts of pics I've seen boys are really quite obvious. To be honest though getting mine done at 14 weeks still has me doubting! even thought he showed no doubt. He even compared to previous ones he has done
but he has put it as high as 95% for now over 18 weeks is 99%. I have never ever in all my scans has anyone ever indicated girl to me so it did feel great at the time. I still scroll the internet for similar scan shots I got. Make sure they do potty shots not from side on like nub etc... If you see right between the legs it should be quite obvious if it was a boy at least. Originally Posted by prayforprincess

Hey girls,
I'm back! Went for my scan at 12+4 on Monday and was feeling very nervous about it. Anyway, I nearly fell off the bed when the trainee tech said 'there's two in there...'! Er, what?! We have no twins in the family, I didn't take any fertility drugs or anything like that, complete shock! I am so nervous as my eldest is only going to be 6. But hopeful I can cope, it is such a special thing after all!
I posted the nub shots in the ultrasound forum
Spicy I'm so sorry about your mc, it's truly horrible, look after yourself over the coming weeks lovely xxx
