Help needed please with charting! So my chart has predicted today that I missed ovulation so I have manually overrode it. My temperature suggests I ovulated on D13 (day before temp rise) but on morning of D14 I had a negative opk, several hours later it was positive ( confirmed by digital). So we DTD in the morning ( 2 hours prior to the positive opk) then again in the evening.
Do you think we caught it? I have had inconsistent waking times but which is more accurate do you think...the temps or the opks? Would you have overridden it too??
    Thanks for any help.

Me+4 I overrode mine last month too. Opks are more accurate than temps, especially if you have erratic wake times and get up in the middle of the night. You got your attempt in at + opk, so hopefully you caught that egg.

Me+4 - that's tricky since you did have an almost positive OPK a couple days ago (but not on the digital if I remember right?)? It sounds like you are fine, but in the off chance you missed O this month I can relate. Last month I got confused with my OPKs (which are normally super accurate for me!) and my chart predicted I missed O and unfortunately my freaking chart was correct. UGH. This month we are doing every 4 days since I'm still mad about what happened last month. GL - sounds like your timing was perfect and fingers crossed for you!

Ok so we bd on Sunday night, I got pos opk on tues and we decided not to bd that night again as still the want for a girl is above the want to be just preg. So as we're doing the every 4 days way we're going to bd tonight. Will I catch it do you think or is it being right in the middle of bd days make it unlikely?

I am in the 2ww, I keep thinking I'm being really patient then I realise that it has only been 5 days since I ovulated and it feels like 2weeks.
I keep feeling my boobs to see if they are sore (always my first sign I'm pregnant) even though the embryo wouldn't of implanted yet, so I wouldn't have sore boobs yet anyway. I tell you, I have turned into a obsessed crazy person.
To make me just that little bit more obsessed about the whole thing, two of my closest friends have just told me they are pregnant. Both only a few weeks and I am the only one who knows. This is almost funny as they haven't told each other and they are both coming over for dinner tomorrow night. So around the dining room table will be two women pretending not to be pregnant and one praying she is, while trying to secretly squeeze her boobs...LOL

Lyagirl, I think it's more important that you are happy with your attempt at this point as you say you would prefer to do it right than just get pregnant. So I think you should stick to your 4day plan. If you don't get pregnant this month just use the info gained to do a better one next month. I know when I swayed for my daughter it was important to me that I had no regrets about my sway attempt. If they had said "boy" instead of "girl" I could of thought to myself, "well I gave it my best go". This might change for you down the track but if you have the time, try and stick to the guidelines as best as possible. And best of luck

lyagirl - it seems like the way your every 4 day plan fell, you have "lower" odds of conception this month, but a GREAT pink sway and I wouldn't worry. As Monty says, you can always try the OPK + every 4 day next month and try to time it better. Definitely you did the right thing if swaying pink is your priority rather than getting pregnant.

Monty - have you swayed before? Tell us about it, I missed your post if you already did, sorry! GL - I'm 5 dpo as well and the wait is torture. That's so fun that you're having 2 pregnant ladies over.. at least you don't have to worry about offering drinks at dinner!

For diet, even with PCOS, you still need to make sure you're not snacking and that you have at least 12 hours between dinner and your first meal.

Here's the spreadsheet for the statistics for everyone who swayed girl and what they did or didn't do.

I didn't know alcohol was suggested, I have been staying away. Is red or white wine better? White wine is in more acidic but it contains a lot of sugar. So which is the best choice? As for exercise I am a couch potato for sure and a BMI to match. I will have to find a good cardio exercise that doesn't kill me. I have no exercise equipment at home and the gym in town charges 80 a month to have access to their machines for the few hours they are open and packed.

No snacking here. I eat no breakfast, a cucumber sandwich with low cal low sodium bread for lunch at noon and dinner is around 8pm usually. I am having trouble with the crystal light though. Its giving me migraines. Aspartame always has. So I can't drink it or the other diet sodas.

That is the chart that I can't access. I open it up and it closes on its own.

Thank you for the advice essnce!!!

Lyagirl it sounds like you have a great sway to me, as limited as my expertise is. Good luck! I'll be waiting here in the Midwest to hear your happy hollering when you get a BFP!

Monty As I was reading your post I could see a bunch of gals hanging out in the living room eating and chatting with shifty eyes and green cheeks (the pregnant ones at least) hopefully it will just turn out that it will be a dinner for three pregnant women. I wonder if they can shake some of that baby dust onto you during dinner.

    GL LADIES!!!

Livethe3quetra - alcohol only sways pink because it's unhealthy. It's completely unnecessary, but I adore wine so I kept it in my sway. White is considered more unhealthy and better, but personally I much prefer red so I end up drinking red more often. I can't afford a gym either so I wake up at 5 am and go running every morning. I was in terrible shape to start so I started with mostly walking and worked my way up to running slowly.
