Good news: the past 3 days I've done really well on not eating sweets!
I ended up not counting calories (I'm too lazy), and not avoiding white carbs (pizza, crackers), but I haven't eaten anything that would be considered sweets/dessert. I'm gonna check my weight Sunday morning because I think it's best to check once a week only. I do feel like I have been eating fewer daily calories this way.

I don't weigh very often because it feels obsessive. And honestly I don't know how normal weight loss goes. So when I stay at the same numbers for a week, I freak out. So I stopped checking.

Am I the only one who eats bread? You always have these yummy salads and soups. I always have sandwiches and matzo or I would be starving... i'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.
My lunch. 1 full egg, one egg white. Cream cheese on ww english muffins. Sauteed zuchinni.
Dinner was 2 pieces matzo with mayo and veggie burgers on them with zuchinni and rice pudding.

im trying to do the PCOS diet, ive stopped eating white bread but i do usually have a wholegrain pitta with my dinner. ive given up sugar altogether which is a massive change for me!! im down 10kg to the lowest weight ive ever been, i just really hope it will work in our favour.
is anyone else having jacket potato? im having one for my tea pretty much every night with lettuce, red pepper, a small amount of grated cheese and either low fat hummus or low fat salad cream.
my usual meals are:
no snacks
breakfast - 4 cups of unsweetened black coffee
dinner- 1 cup almond milk with either a hummus and salad pitta or lentil soup with a plain pitta
tea - a diet coke with some alcohol in it, jacket potato with salad, grated cheese and either hummus or salad cream, one night a week i have wholewheat pasta with a small amount of pesto on it and sometimes i have the roast veg or mash potato and veg from our family meal with vegetarian gravy.
if i fancy something sweet with my meal im having fruit, usually grapes or pineapple, i hope im on the right track :-/ if anything stands out as wrong please let me knowgood luck to everyone with your sways xx

Hey!!! Its so hard for me to look at other ppls diets because I only know what I do. Nothing stands out per se, although very different then my own. Just seems like very little food. As long as you are covering the 50 protein and 50 fat in those choices and 1500 calories at least, I guess it would be good [emoji848] that's all I know about the rules. The limits. Food choices for all of us are incredibly different. So maybe use the apps for intake and post a day and we can see clearer.

Just chipping in to wish you GL....are you already in ttc mode or just prepping with the sway? If I’m anything to go by...3 girls here.... carbs, veg, and low protein is my standard eatung style so you must be on the right track, especially if you get enough cal/proteins
Can’t wait to hear about your next BFPLucky Mummy to 4 sweet divas (2013) (2015) (2018) (2021) and 1 sweet boy (2024) that completed our family

I’m almost a month into the diet, thinking of trying in October. I had my Mirena removed on the fifth of this month, I have no clue if what I experienced after removal was my AF or not, I’m not sure where I am in my cycle, I might take birth control pills till I’m ready to try, I want to be on the diet atleast 12 weeks

thankyou mom25boys
i worked it all out on my fitness pal right at the beginning so i wouldnt need to track every day and it comes in at the limits Atomic set for me, i did the normal LE diet the last 2 times so this feels like starting from scratch and i keep doubting myself!! though i guess if im in limits and avoiding white flour and sugar then thats the main thing as i dont have pcos im just on the diet due to having an opposite.
LMSM heythankyou for sharing your eating style, that gives me hope!! it sounds like you probably eat quite similar to the PCOS LE diet rather than the sugary crash and burn standard LE? im on the PCOS diet this time due to having had an opposite so its been a whole new diet to get my head around!! im 14 weeks into diet and exercise so ready to ttc from now
are you guys thinking blue sway in a year or 2?
