Spinning, ita with what Cinss said here and will be here with the past dd group and will check on you and support you along your journey. Xoxo
Thanks, Shell! I will have to try and convince DH. I was such a rookie with ds3 I may have to take a cloth diapering class to learn how to better care for them, ie: dry bag vs. wet bag, washing, etc.
Thanks, Bimby and Cinss!! Lol!! I can't wait to squeeze them!!!
Oh, and Cinss... Like I said I was a cloth diapering rookie, but I used to rinse them in the toilet by hand with a glove on. My friend has this awesome sprayer that's attached to her toilet and she said it works perfectly!!Last edited by Brandles; December 23rd, 2012 at 03:43 AM.

Bimby: glad everything turned it fine!
Brandles: loove the potty shot... Hope you're truly convinced. I bet your family is going to be so happy for you guys!
Cd: I have done both my boys. I did a diaper service for the first, then with DS 2 I dashed my own for over a year and then went back to diaper service. I enjoy the Cd, but I am happy with prefolds and the washing routine was causing too much stress for me. We use liners, so I drop the whole thing off with the poop in the toilet and flush. I used to swish, so gross, until I discovered the liners.
I was going to do a gender reveal on Christmas to my family, but my mom asked today and DS1 spilled the beans...LOL. It's fine. My mom said she thought she knew it would be another boy. A least she didn't seem disappointed. I think she wanted a girl for me more than I did, but I guess even she realized you get what you get! In telling people we r having another boy, I just wish people wouldn't act so surprised or feel sorry for me, kwim?

Genie, I will have the same problem if this one is a boy. My MIL said yesterday to only tell her if she can buy pink,,, I mean wtf is that!!! Im so peeved about it. Like she will not be happy if its a boy.. She loves my boys so how could she not love it if we have another one! GRrrrrr. My mum has been awesome and has already said she loves my boys and would be blessed to have another grandson, thank goodness Im not dealing with it from both sides! Anway, dont worry about others comments, as soon as your LO arrives you wont care what anyone else thinks!
Ladies I am getting soooooo excited for my scan but Im also really scared! I havent really felt any movement for ages so have been using the doppler to ease my nerves but at the end of the day it may not mean all is ok anyway you know.. I wish I was feeling bubs move and then Id feel a little betterIts been almost 7 weeks since my last scan, feels like forever! Im just glad Ive stopped obsessing over nubs, I was going nuts for a while there!!

Thanks!!! I'm definitely convinced now!!!! All baby boy clothes are packed up and ready to be passed on!!!
Ita with what you said here. Even when I say I'm having a girl they're like jumping up and down excited for me... Heck, I'm excited to have a girl, but if this was another boy *I think* I would've been totally fine with it. When I had ds3 I got so many comments like "oh, I'm so sorry" etc. Drove me batty. I'm just happy for a healthy baby... That's it!!

Spinning I may well be back around that time if we do decide to try one more time, my gd is still pretty bad although I am really looking forward to meeting our new little man.
Speaking of which for those that heard opposites how would you feel if when you gave birth it was actually your dg? I was thinking about this the other day as part of me still hopes that by some miracle they got it wrong. Then I thought as excited as I would be to find out I had a daughter I think I would also be upset that I'd been told the wrong gender and gone through all the gd etc. Although of course I would rather it be this way round than the other. Also, despite me constantly having dreams that it turns out to be a girl, I am getting my head around having 3 little boys and thinking about all the good things and how close they will hopefully be etc.
I've heard of so many people losing little ones over the last few weeks though, during the 2nd trimester and having premature labours where the baby hasn't survived. I truly count my blessings that at the moment it seems all is well with my baby, as ultimately we know that regardless of gender we want our babies to be ok.
I read an article the other day that was talking about peoples reactions when you have more than 2 children, and particularly if you have three or more of the same gender. It was a lady talking about the bad comments people had made to her which I could totally relate to. I hate the fact that it seems somehow acceptable to have 3 children if you have mixed genders, but as soon as you have three of the same gender it's like you should have stopped at two.
Brandles - I'm so glad you got your little girl confirmed. You give me hope that maybe if we do have another it could be my much longed for daughter.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. xxxxDS1 - 4.5yrsDS2 - 3yrs
