hopefully she flips herself back head down for you Ash!! my friend had the ECV done with her 2nd baby it was successful and she had a normal birthim surprised they are waiting so long to do it with you though given your history of early babies, did they say what they would do if you go into labour before next tuesday?

JUST QUickly, Ash..go the Spinning babies website to see the techniques to help baby without the ECV. Subsequent babies can change positions until late so seriously do everything you can to avoid the ecv .
I managed to flip DD1 who was transverse at 36 + weeks, into head down ...positions and acuponcture (with moxa) did the trick!!Lucky Mummy to 4 sweet divas (2013) (2015) (2018) (2021) and 1 sweet boy (2024) that completed our family

ASH. I had an ecv at 37 weeks with my baby girl. She was head down at 26 weeks but at my 29 week app she was breech and stated breech. They have to explain the risks with the ecv but it's all very rare. I was beside myself with stress and honestly the ecv was painless and quick it took about 20 seconds to turn her. It was nothing like I thought , I understand that until you have experienced it you can't relax but seriously it was absolutely fine.

4blue2pink I think they’re just banking on me not going into labor but she said to come in ASAP if I thought I was that they could do it while in labor but it could put baby into more distress.
LMSM I’ll check it out. I may call my chiro if the ecv doesn’t work

Ash that seems abit half-arsed of them when they know you go early!! :-/ though having said that over here breech isnt seen as a huge thing and vag birth is still the main way of delivery but i get the impression its not the same in the US?
i second spinning babies!! its well worth trying the positions especially since she is little and has lots of room to flip roundnow 6blue5pink

It’s definitely worth trying positioning to flip her – and if that still fails and you are not keen for a vaginal breech birth – then you could try the ECV
It involves getting into what seems a tad silly positions, but it totally worked for me – my bubs like to lie in weird positions until late lol – but after a couple of days of exercises , they moved like nutcases for an hour or so and tada, next check they were (and stayed) head down
She is a cutie – hope she does her thing soon on her own so you don’t have to worry about an early(ier) arrival
Mommyxo3 – Sierra Jade is a nice flowing name – and Dakota is super cute -
Like SRG – I have all girls, yet signs have been different – we can easily say after the fact “ oh that was different because this one was a boy/girl” but really, our bodies just react to pregnancy differently each time and each variation of “symptoms” bring no indication – I was dead sure this would be a boy based on early symptoms…and yet lol
Dancing – how are you? No signs of early arrival for bub?
How is your daughter?
Sky – lovely to see you here! (and soosh - don’t mention the no weight gain to women who are gaining tons lol).
When do school holidays start for your DD?
All settled in the house now?
Hope you can put your feet up a bit soon
I’m knackered but surviving (just) lol it’s abit of a rush to drop off my eldest at vacation care, run off to catch the train/bus to get to work not too late, then rush out of the office to do the reverse but picking up DD2 from daycare before we stop on the way home to pick up DD1 before even starting the evening routine (and no DH in sight lol)… I will have a few days off as of Friday next week (this will be our summer break – not much but better than nothing!) so am looking forward to not having that running around as I can feel my body hates it (contractions, SPD, sciatica, you name it lol).
Can I just say - yayyyy we have a tradie in today – to look at putting up the walls to make that new bedroom for M – so we can then move E into M’s current room and I can reclaim the nursery for miss #3a tad excited! I hope he can get started asap – as I want plenty of time to nest, clean, and get ready woohoo!
Also, anyone have major memory issues?? I cannot find my blue book (which is a small folder form hospital with my history – also had my script for my GTT in there_) – I need it for my middie appointment tomorrow and cannot for the life of me remember where it is - so it stresses me majorly lol
Ok better run, hope you’re all well – I now have to try to focus on work with someone hiccupping into my cervix lolLucky Mummy to 4 sweet divas (2013) (2015) (2018) (2021) and 1 sweet boy (2024) that completed our family

Pinkin I missed your last post! Thanks that helps [emoji4]
4blue2pink their thoughts are Breech delivery poses more risk than c section... I’ve never had one before so I’ll def. push hard for vag still if it’s even a possibility.
LMSM I checked out the site I’ll be trying a couple of the moves:.. dh will think I’m a nut case when I’m laying on an ironing board... hiccups in the cervix [emoji23] love it!
Kat eeekkkk.... scheduling your date!! How exciting

Good luck kat with ur appointment tomorrow.
A vaginal breech delivery is a possibility if certain criteria are met and for u ash as far i can recall u meet mostly all. I am thinking they scheduled ECV next Tuesday based on their next OR opening otherwise they could have done it sooner. But that's just my guess
